3 experiences at concert entrances w/ V4L

Went to see System of a Down a while back at the Forum near Los Angeles and Irvine, Ca. Just got back from the Mayhem Fest at Glen Helen in Southern California.

In Los Angeles I had my carrying case with 4 carts and 2 bats. Pulled out for the search held it in my hand or placed it on the table for the search I forget. Had it with my blackberry kinda in a stack. Nothing... in with no problems.

Irvine I did the same. Held my arms up with BB and carrying case with V4L. The security goes whats that and points to the case. I opened it and said its an electronic cigarette. He said oh I dont know about that......went to ask another security. I said Ill show you it and how it works. They are stumped. They go ask a 3rd security guy and again I said I will show it to you. Its an E-cig. The 3rd guy looked at it and said its ok.....whew! I was stressing.

3rd time was tonight. I thought I would bring the e gigs out of the case with the carts attached. I layed em on the table nothing. The security felt me up and found another cart in my pocket. I pulled it out and set it on the table and he said whats that? I said its an electronic cigarette. its the cartrige. I pulled out the business card and showed him. I was prepared this time. He knew what it was and was interested. I puffed on the e cigs and he was talking about how he wanted to try them. Another security came over and said he bought another brand and how much he paid. I gave him a business card and said get this one its the best. I was on my merry vaping way.

Awesome Chesterwiz. The casual approach seems to have worked well for you. Did you cape inside the venues? How did that go?

nice chester! lol Ive gotten some converts just by using my ecigs and being me. but the other day on the 4th I was puffin on my pv and these little 14 year olds or something walked by coughing loudly and looking at me. I was like its not smoke stop coughing lol. silly kids.

No problem vaping inside the venues. 2 were outdoor and one was indoor. I kinda hide it cause I am still shy about vaping. One outdoor venue a security shined a flash light my direction but I dont know if it was for me or not. otherwise no issues inside.

Oh I think thats terrible. Dang those little kids. They are trying to be rude but they have no clue whats really going on. Wonder if they cough when their mom boils water

Hey Chester I was in applebees, and I do vape in public and if someone asks, I will tell them what it is. I showed the bartender (We were watching a rangers game) And she was like "Oh I smoke, you mind if I try?" I warned her and said it is a HIGH nic level, but sure! So she tried and she's like "High? It feels normal to me" So I explained how many mg's are in a cig and how many mgs were in this. She was like "Wow, that is high!" So we were watching the game, and she took a few puffs off of it though out the night, I learned she smoked menthol's, so she really liked the Smilin, I gave her a card. I was totally drunk that night cause it was half priced app's and 2fer's. So when I vape in public I try to keep the vapor to a minimum. But as I said, I was drunk and I was blowing vape O's and french inhaling and some guy got ......, so the bartender explained what it was and that it was ok. He was still ...... and asked for a manager. The head manager came out and said "Hey, I have one of those too, where did you get it?" I gave him a card too, said they were the best out there, and he thought it was cool, and totally blowing off the mad customer.

I have been everywhere with it and I have had people say I can't use it, so I pulled out a card and showed them, I explained and the non smokers were still thinking they are better then me, cause they do not need nic to get though life.

I actually found out from someone on here, and though real life experiences that Nic helps with my ADD, and I can focus better as well.

Yea, just ask one of those people if they've had their morning caffeine fix. It's hard being perfect ;-)
