Geez! My first coil worked really good. I got sick of the chocolate that was in it and can't seem to get it out...but it still works good. So, fresh off the success of my first coil.. I tried another. I got an OP code on the provair. (have no idea what that means but it can't be good).. so I took it apart and coiled another... E1.. so I took it apart again and the third coil worked.. for about 10 minutes.. then another E1. Each time I could smell a burnt smell that told me I did something wrong (as if the error codes didn't do their job alerting me!)

So I took it apart, set it out to dry, put a new head (from the package) in and now I'm vaping the juice I want in it. My first coil worked and I did the same thing to the next 3 and they didn't

Maybe my coils were too far apart and they touched the side of the metal head. The premade coils I got from avidvapor are very very close together. Are the coils not supposed to touch each other? I'm using cotton wick and have it soaked but maybe it's not wet enough? Anyone who's having success rewicking this thing have any words of wisdom?

First coil I put in one was great...2.0ohms and it vaped like a champ for a few days then got too gunky. Next try I wanted to go a little lower with the ohms and got 1.5. Vapor and throat hit were great but flavor was BAD. Strong burning rubber taste. Took it apart and saw that the little gasket that holds the wires in place was burnt. So I rebuilt a new head 2 more times at the same ohms and same thing...wondering if it's just too hot at the lower resistance for the rubber piece to handle...any thoughts?
