Hi guys,

I just want to report, it's been three months now since quitting analogs.

All my life I've always had a hard time playing sports since I had been a smoker since the age of 12 and was asthmatic until that age.

I've always had problems running, breathing and just plain doing anything sports even though I am fairly good at playing just about any sport with the exception of hokey and bball.

So, today was my first time practicing with a softball team I joined with co-workers.

I did a lot of running around and all that and before I started I was fearing the dreaded burning lungs....

Well, guess what? No burning lungs! I was out of breath a little from being out of shape but it only took me a bit to get over it unlike before where it would take up to 45 minutes for me to stop coughing, burning and gasping.

It's truely amazing the feeling I have right now and how great it is to know that I am no longer crippled from analogs. I think I will even cut out my "one every few days" analog.

Woo Hoo! I'm so excited I can actually participate in things everyone else does now that I don't smoke.

CONGRATS!
Funny thing is, I experienced the coughing for an hour, gagging, sometimes even throwing up a bit .....JUST from getting up from sleeping!
One week into vaping and I noticed something....I didnt do ANY of that anymore! Now I use an eliptical and a total gym daily w/out any recourse! WOOT! :D

Keep it up and get rid of that now n then analog...you dont need it! ;)

Congrats beecee on the 3 months and on being able to do things you enjoy

Vrr nice! I'm a bit old for taking up sports I think, but I'd like to walk up stairs without breathing heavily :p Congatulations on your regained health.

lol a couple weeks ago I took like 3 trips up the stairs with laundry and groceries and it hit me for the first time since I made the switch that I couldn't remember the last time I breathed heavily from walking up the stairs :D

that was a daily occurrence for me for the past couple years before quitting.

for sure guys! thanks a bunch :)

And yes! Getting up and not hacking out a lung happened week 2! feels great to not feel like I'm gonna faint while hacking up a lung that's for sure.

And, yes, no more once in a while for me...this felt to good today (although right now my throwing arm and catching wrist are already aching,!)

I found out that I'm a natural at softball too! I can actually hit a ball, hard and throw like a true pro! well, maybe not a pro but like a chick who knows how to throw..

Ahh, life is great...softball bruises and all (this one on my arm shall be here a while)

Yes, I am just a little too happy.
