i too am glad i found this site when i first started, provided me with any and all the knowledge i wanted or needed and made me get something i could be satisfied with vaping wise. I absolutely <3 everyone who helped me and those with who we can have some fun around here :p. Although i still get odd cravings too,one thing's for sure is that i cannot stand the smell of cigarettes now and proud of having done something my sister can't ahah xD

...I don't want a wheel to fall off, every quit is different and I don't EVER want to have to go through trying to get back on the vaping horse, if I even *could* make myself do it, which is NOT a given...

Holy moley is this ever an important realisation and you better believe you should fear it. I took almost three years to get "proper quit" off cigs again once I slipped, after quitting instantly the first time.

So glad for your milestone, keep it up and (I know you already know this, but) never discount the power of the friendly, helpful support group here! Congrats.

Thanks you guys for all the excitement! 3 months is major, and this thread is cheering me up today :)

(I think there is something very wrong with my lower jaw, and won't really figure it out until I see the Oral Surgeon who is very nice, but I've developed something of an aversion to seeing him, it's usually painful and expensive, LOL. But I won't know til Monday when I call and probably go in.... OMG I could deal with a failed, infected implant and even bone reconstruction, but if I have some sort of weird tumor or jaw cancer from smoking, I shall not be happy :( I'm trying to think optimistically, LOL maybe all I need is some ABX) but all the congrats are cheering me up and keeping me from stressing and smoking... :)

QC, you totally should post your successes! 100 days is an epic milestone, you should go for it! Isn't it funny, totally different styles of vaping, equal success, LOL. I love vaping....

But thanks for all the congrats! :) It's appreciated....

I just realized, I missed my three month anniversary but yay, it happened! I vaped through needing the Heimlich, (for reals) a recluse spider bit, adjusting all my meds, readjusting all my meds (tobacco metabolism pathways are a bit different than nicotine pathways, it's been a bit of a PITA, but I'm getting there) oral surgeries while awake then on advil, oh, the list goes on, LOL. :)

You could NOT have convinced me that this would be possible in the slightest prior to it actually happening! I'm pretty much celebrating by continuing to vape and letting my bank account balance recalibrate, heh. So it's an easy going anniversary, but looking back I just feel incredibly lucky and gifted to have gotten this far, with not only ease (no grace though, LOL) but actually ENJOYING myself, learning new things, and meeting virtual AWESOME vapers. So, I'm quite happy to be sitting here, recalling what life was like with cigs (horrible, and I don't EVER want to forget it! I actively try to remember)

Vape life is SO much better! Thank you ECF so much and to all you wonderful members who helped me along the way, you guys are the best!

Anna I want to congratulate you on one more thing. I got up this morning, headed for the couch in the garage to watch news and have my morning cig and coffee.
I always read up on e-cig in the AM to catch what I missed. First thing I saw was your post. I put the pack down, grabbed my T22, and vaped. Your post motivated me to finally say enough to the AM cigarette with coffee.
So, vaping since July 4, and hopefully last cig, Friday, September 15, at 8 AM.

Congratulations, Anna. You are over the hump. I stopped smoking as soon as I started vaping and never looked back. It isn't like that for everyone and so many never make the transition. You are so far ahead of where I was at 90 days. I was still vaping an eGo twist, never gave a thought to making juice, and had no need to roll coils or wick. It seems that you have already made a hobby out of vaping and that probably helps it to stick. Good for you!
