I can tell you the one big obvious difference....they all have different battery threading. That's why they're all different numbers. Having said that, some are compatible with each other, some can be connected together by adapters. The numbers indicate the threading...so you can tell what replacement parts to get. But the 306 will fit on a 510 battery. I'm not sure about some of them. I think the 901 is called the "pen style" if I'm not mistaken (and I could be.) I don't know what a 302d is. Do you have specific performance questions about each, or are you just wondering about the numbering system?

Can someone tell me the difference between all of these?

You're sort of asking for a book if you want differences in performance etc. I think a 306 will fit a 510 battery. So, they aren't all different threading. Regardless, it'll work better to say what you are looking for and get suggestions.

between here and there
I will start by saying that flavor depends on the ejuice.....as does vapor production. Lifespan and battery strenght are depending on the mah of the battery.i.e. 510 has several battery sizes. 180 mah--shortest life span between charges...ego(which has 510 threads) holds a charge of 6-8 hours and has potential for more power to the hit.

the 801 Mini is great for flavor, 510 most popular and a good one to try as is the 901, they are all good and serve there own purpose depending on how you like to vape, its all very subjective, what one may like another one may hate, just try them all over the course of time. 510 like I said is most popular and a good place to start, as is an LR-510

My goodness, mwa! At 155mm, the 801 is a penstyle, not a Mini (such as the 112mm 510, 117mm KR808D-1, or 118mm 901). I do agree that it is great for flavor ... and that it's "all very subjective."

I'm not familiar with the 302D, but the Joye 302 is an 801-compatible penstyle (as is the Boge JKY302).

All that having been said, these lengths as based on the atomizer connected to the battery for which it was originally designed. More often that not these days, these atomizers are connected to other batteries, e.g., the Joye 510 (or its many "510" clones) often is attached to a fat batt like the eGO or Riva.

As has been mentioned, the threading of the 510 and 306 atomizers is identical and they are compatible. The 901 and Kr8 threading is identical, but the airflow is handled differently, so a Kr8 cartomizer will not necessarily work on a 901 battery (or 901 mod fitting). [The 901 atty will always work on a Kr8 battery.]

The manual 510 is a good model to start with, although I recommend two others instead, depending on personal preferences: either a 510-based fat batt (e.g., eGO or Riva) or Kr8. See my article. The best (and most expensive) Kr8 is the Bloog MaxX Fusion, which I reviewed a few weeks ago. Without knowing anything about the individual, this is the model I would recommend to the current smoker. [And it is one of my two favorite e-cigs, even after two years of vaping.]

306-510-801-901-kr808d/302d?

510 is the most popular 3-piece threading, also used as a 2-piece

KR808D-1 is the most popular 2-piece threading (battery + cartomizer)

The following ones are somewhat less popular and somewhat less supported for types of blank cartomizers

801 - most popular penstyle

901 - a 3-piece with threading similar to KR808D-1 but not enough the same to use everything of each other's without adapters

306 - similar to 510 threading, mostly available as parts, popular atomizers for dripping on 510

306d - no idea

Thanx for all the replies and I apologize on my extremely vague curiosity.
Currently I am using a 510 eGo 650mah pass-through. In the near future I am hoping to get my hands on either a Reo Grand or Reo mini. Ive seen that the Reos take a 510, but some people have been using a 306 on it, which kinda confused me.
So, apparently I could use either the 501 or a 306 with the Reos, but not any of the other part numbers mentioned?

Yes, you can use a 510 or 306 on the REO without an adapter. The 306 is a little tricky, it has to be kept wet, but that is pretty easy with the REO. Technically, I don't know what about the 306 makes me like it better, but I do.

Take a look at these threads:

There is a lot of discussion about attys in the REO forum. Get your 5 posts and come over to say "hi"
