No show here, people that have had it happen know that it can happen and I will leave it at that.

Oh I know. As I stated earlier I totally agree with you regardless of how someone's theoretical point of view may make sense. As you stated, those of us who know from personal experience know without a doubt. It has been discussed and tested many times in the past that removing the wick gets rid of that bad burnt taste. I just thought it was funny watching someone argue against something that has been proven over and over...

Said at the end of pretty much every post (If You like it better without the wick, take it out.).

The only one arguing is you. I said silica does NOT BURN nor MELT.
And you're still dragging this out.

I'm done....rip out every wick if you like and drip every other puff if you like to keep it wet, it's your atty.

LOL, you are too funny! If there is an argument going on here, I'm certainly not the only person partaking in it as you have been very passionate about proving your point, as have the rest of us. I don't know if silica in the atty can burn or melt at common vaping temperatures. If you know for a fact that it cannot, I respectfully accept your side of the argument.

But what I do know for a fact is what has been discussed, proven, and confirmed over and over in the past by many of us. When a 306 atty starts providing a bad burnt-like taste, it seems that there is no going back and pulling the wick out gets rid of the problem every single time. People have tried boiling, soaking in PGA, blowing the liquid out and re-priming, etc... but pulling the wick out has been the only thing that solves the problem. I won't argue why that is, I'm simply pointing out proven facts from my experience and from many others.

No help on the closed 901 holes, huh? I'd hate to waste a whole new thread on the question since this very one has '901' in the subject. I'll just give it another day....

I gotcha Sewn :)
Ok, there could be a number of problems for the blockage. Was the 901 in a fall recently? Doesn't really matter the question is irrelevant anyway as we're thinking of the problem and not the solution. What could be blocking maybe either a wire got jogged out of place, the internals were somehow pushed or well lubricated enough to sink or thicker liquid had a chance to solidify a bit while the atty was inactive for a period of time.

1st, let's try to be simple and wipe off the bottom of the atomizer and cover the air hole with a tissue and blow out through the bottom. If that fails we always have a step 2.

2.
Let's try taking a sewing ;) needle and inserting about 5-10mm into the air hole in a downward fashion. At this point your hand should be near the top of the atomizer, in a slow and careful way swing your hand down while holding the top of the needle to reach just under level of the air hole.

Let me know how it works out, please make the atomizer is still disconnected from the device while performing any of these steps. With Step 2 use caution on how deep you place the needle.

Thank you, Isaac! Okay...yes, they were in a fall...actually, I kinda shook them. There's a story but you don't wanna read it.

Step 1 didn't work and neither did step 2 on one of them. Funny thing...2 of the holes magically opened after another day sitting open side down...go figure. And on one of the them I'm actually getting tiny drops of juice coming out of the hole (proving your theory about juice as glue, I think). Going to keep working at that one.
