306 atty question

saturday a new friend gave me a new 306 atty and it worked like a charm on my ego-t 1000mah bat. last night when i went to drip it wouldnt fire at all or even get warm. my 510s and tank attys work great still. what could be the problem? could it of fried? my friend said his lasted months.

you need to pull the wick out of a 306. its jammed in there so tight that liquid can't get to the coil. The coil was to dry when you fired it and it broke. Also blow out all the liquid from your atty every night b4 you go to bed or sometimes in the morning they are dead.

thanks for the info, i had been using it and thought i actually had it too wet and flooded it. is it possible its just flooded or something?

if its not firing or heating up on any of your devices its dead. let it go, its in a better place now, yaddayadda yadda. try it on another battery. THe center pin of the atty may have been pushed up making a space where the connection should be. the middle part of the screw end should push out about 1mm farther than the outer part, if its been pushed up from being screwed onto the battery to tight pull it out by using a saftey pin or a tip of small scissors and go around the perimiter of the inner post with it.
