Thanks Quake and Dave for the complete explaination and picture. I've seen the stuff for the 306's but what I didn't realize was that the fitting was the same.

Quake, I'll give the guy credit for coming up with some witty names. LOL! This is all DIY stuff? One of these days I am going to have to watch some of that tv stuff.

Thanks for the info, if I find myself getting bored and needing an accessory fix, I'll now know what to play with. Have you tried the dual coil cartos? If so, what did you think about them?

The cannon is the best/only way to truly enjoy a 306

As for fitting all the way, yeah, it doesn't. That has nothing to do with the battery mod, it's just the design of the cannon. It fits snugly on the atty, and is sealed tight, despite the millimeter or so of space between the bottom of the cannon and the bottom of the 306.

Mine fits perfectly over some, and just a hair shy on others.. it's mainly the atomizer inconsistency itself. The one I've got it on right now is perfectly snug to the flared base.

Thanks Quake and Dave for the complete explaination and picture. I've seen the stuff for the 306's but what I didn't realize was that the fitting was the same.

I've heard about the dual coils, but as experience has taught me, I'm not buyin jack that's brand new. Seen too many ideas fizzle and dissapear due to issues.

Also once I get my stuff for Dingleberry and mix it up, I'll send ya some so you can check it. Elixirliquid.com just started selling his Fuzzbuster tonight no less, since JD doesn't want to mess with selling it and is more prone to give it away and the recipes too. I hear it's the best, but I'm not big on caramel themed stuff so I at least ordered a small bottle to give it a shot as I've not had the luck of winning some on ElixirTV. And yes, it's all him just DIY experimenting and finding things he likes, which turns out to be things everyone else loves.

Yeah, you won't be sorry. I love my cannon.

It does take a lot of the heat away from the experience which I personally don't like but everything else about it rocks.

Edit: Now that I've found a camera here's the current 306 I have my Cannon on. It fits to the bottom, the only spacing is for the Journeyman itself so there's less resistance when I feed liquid up.

And just because I have to show them off.

Puppies!

I got them today!!! :w00t: The cannon is pretty bad .... I can see why people dig these. :toast: It's a little large but I think I'll get used to it because it has plenty of benefits and in my opinion they look cool, well different.

I also picked up an aquamarine Ming drip tip from Cherry vape. It has an awesome feel to it and is very easy to drip in, contrary to what may be perceived by its looks. I would have waited for some diffent colors to come out but I really wanted to try the Cannon... so I bit the bullet and got the blue one.

PS. Aren't all babies adorable? :p

OMG Quake, those puppies are so cute! I gotta look away! Puppyitis is a BAD disease and every time I see babies I get it. The result is I turn dogs into unruly spoiled children. I only have the 2 aging beastie boys at home (min. Poodle and Yorkie/Silky). I can't imagine 9 of them!

Great pic of the Cannon too Quake. Thx! OK... with you guys both saying how great it is, I think I'm going to have to order a few of them soon. Still wanna see your Cannon in person. LOL :)

xLowEndx - bring along the Ming Tip for me to see if you go to the VIP social!! Love the look of those.

I can't make it tomorrow, I picked up some shifts at work.

Here's the breakdown of these drip tips. I don't have any 510s but the drip tip adapter I got for the 306 allows me to use the Ming tip. Because of this it's a little annoying so I'm picking the cannon for my everyday 306 drip tip. If/when I get some LR510s the Ming tip will be my first choice.

Welp, Hellen finally got to see the Cannon! Was a great time, sorry you couldn't make it LowEnd, but makin bucks would have taken precedence in my case as well.

Though, I'm sure I would have made a horrible first impression, I smelled like sweat & miller time and had one hell of a hangover from the birthday bash I attended the night before.

Since Quake and X are drippers, could you please recommend the best attys for me. Usually order from cov (he has the joy) but I also checked out mad vapes, different brand.
Been toying with trying out some attys and direct dripping. I'd want HV ones. Figured you two could tell me the better ones to get.
I started playing with liquids again, trying some new ones out and really hate using a carto for every flippen flavor and no, I am not washing out cartos but attys are easy to wash. Unlike the ce2's, dual coils and all that jazz, I figured some decent attys would not be a bad investment, even if I find I am not crazy about the dripping. I haven't used them since I tossed my 510's.

I don't actually drip, the cannon is on my journeyman which is joosefed. However for a 510 atty, I honestly can't remember where to get the high resistance ones. I know Nhaler had a 4.5 ohm which is great for 6v, but I haven't been there in so long he may have discontinued them.

As far as tips, the cannon is a fantastic drip tip. There's the pyrex ones from theecig.com, a bit pricey but liquid just slides down it and doesn't hang around in it. I know Jerseyvapes.com just put up some stainless steel ones with a pretty big hole for dripping into. It's all down to personal preference on that one though.

Thanks guys.

I edited my whole post. I realized I still had a freebie, a 306 lr with a tip already on it. I am revisiting it now that I have a full understanding of what the heck it is. Not really my cup of tea but I am glad I never tossed it so I could really make sure.
Out of winter boredom, I have been playing around with some new stuff, looking for the something to rock my world but I keep going back to my happy vaping place...I just was getting bored with it but this is the time of year I get in a funk due to the dreary weather and I find myself kind of bored with everything....mood picks up when the temps and sunlight increase.
I think I'll still grab some hv atty's. Have some new liquid I ordered that is totally out of the ordinary stuff I usually try and figure that might be a good way to test them out. Unless I kill them, they'll be a good thing to just have on hand.

Dripping definitely is 100% subjective, with cartos you get a very similar experience all around. Dripping is a much wider range that can be one vapers garbage and another vapers happy place. If I could get my journeyman to play well with 510's I'd probably be rockin the HV on 6v but the 306's fill and hold the juice feed so much better. I'm also very .... about messy liquid overflow so dripping tends to not be my thing when I have to constantly clean my atties and threads.

No kidding. So I dabbled with it and the lr 306....I was thinking wtf, this is awful. Not that it taste awful but no big vape and what a pita.
Right now I am using the map with the five volt. The problem with the ce2 thing is that there is no consistency and chain vaping is out of the question. The whole tank thing is bizarre because one would think it is set up for just that. The only good thing that came from playing with that stuff is that I really like my new chuck. In fairness to the tank thing, it isn't all bad but it still doesn't beat a carto in my book.

Sometimes I think vaping compares to liking shoes. You might own the best, most comfortable pair in the whole wide world and really, that is all you need till you wear them to shreds yet you always feel the need for more, even if you ain't gonna wear them. (I am like that with cowboy boots) Just like I am resolved to wear out the ones I got, I need to look at vaping like that. Hmmm, perhaps if I go back to boot shopping I can. LOL!!! But alas, I am bored and have no life outside of work so dropping a few bucks here and there on accessories or a new juice gives me something to keep myself amused.

I haven't hit the order button, this is a good thing. I'll just wait it out for a bit. I am also holding back on the dual coil things for now, I am wondering if they are really gonna be all that or die the slow death like the clearomizers :)
