Wow
It's been a hell of a ride. 36 days vaping and the same amount without analogs.
Over the last month+ , I've learned alot about eciggs and this community. I started with a duo pro rip off last year and got completely turned off to the whole vaping thing, thinking it was a rip off.
Fortunately, found this forum and it's wonderful members. I thought i would let you know what I've discovered so far and would love to hear about your rigs as well.
After doing the 510, Riva thing, my first mod was a little alpha from alt smokes. Great little machine, indestructible. That led me away from attys and to cartomizers looking for longer running time. The cartomizers had nice flavor but not a great hit. They are convenient during my drive to from work.
After that, I discovered the Mini Reo. That thing blew my mind. Well designed, well made, it's amazing. Still in search of a good throat hit, the mini led me to discover the 306lr Atty.
Now, finally, we're starting to cook with fire. All day juice and no more dripping.
After finding the right machine and Atty combo for me, I started searching for juice. I bought it all. I discovered I don't like pancakes, cookies and cakes and such. I began to explore the ry4 juices and tried over 10 except for the bwb holy grail. I did discover bwb 555 and Casablanca, both outstanding but only after I learned the value of steeping! Still searching for an all day vape that wasn't sickly sweet, I finally discovered IKV Gold, in pg blend in 24mg. That stuff is amazing and is my all day vape.
Now here's where I need help please.
Last week, I was playing around on a suppliers site and ran across the tiny 14250 battery. I wondered if I could stack in my little alpha? For 7 bucks it was worth a try, so, trying to remember my old electrical training from 35 years ago, I remembered that batteries in series add the voltage up. Now, things started to click and I thought I would start experimenting with higher voltages.
Wow, my little alpha has turned from a cute little puppy into a pit bull. This thing spits out huge plumes of vapor. I spent all day yesterday sitting on the back porch with all my almost discarded juices. Juices that hadn't previously liked were coming alive in HV. Juices that I did like like Halo TriBeCa with it's slightly peppery after tone absolutely knocked me over. I almost vaped myself into a coma yesterday.
Now, i feel like a newbie all over again!
Ok, the question for the vets. Is HV the cats azz or what? I still love my Mini Reo with the 306 so am I further stoking my obsession by going HV?
What's next, doing hits of battery acid off a Sears Diehard??
Seriously, I'm a little afraid of opening up a can of worms here.
God Bless
