So I received a big assorted order today (100% on the order, shipped on Friday...:2cool:) and received a bonus Carto that was a 36mg. I'm regularly vaping at 18mg, but I thought I would give it a try. Man o'man it was like I hooked my sinuses up to a couple of electrodes.....I had a massive sinus nic buzz for 20 minutes.

Hat's off to those that can handle 36mg.....what a ride!

LOL! It sucks, but with my health issues and the pain, 36mg doesn't even phase me! I bought some 24 hoping it would work, no love!
Wonder if I can get some 86mg or something? I'm doing better, not smoking two analogs at a time for a couple weeks is an improvement!

Early on 36mg wasn't cutting it for me. I snagged some 100mg from Xtreme Vaping and started boosting bottles of 36 from V4L up to 47mg. Did this for a year and it did the trick. Now dropping back to regular 36 to see what happens.

Roughly..... 5ml (36mg) + 1ml (100mg) = 6ml of 47mg. Shake well....

It took me some doing of 36mg in the very beginning because I smoked 2-1/2 to 3packs a day but quickly got down to 24mg. I have been @24MG for almost 2 yrs and just now starting to do 18mg. It really is how much your body was use to taking in of the Nic when you smoked and the body craves that amount at first to make you not go through as much with draw from the Nic. You really don't want to be vaping much more then 24mg if your chain vaping, everyone is different but high dosages of Nic will make your heart race, give you headaches and some other side effects. If you where to vape 87mg all day you very well could and probably would OD on Nic and it could do you in if you took to much into your system.

Anybody out there vaping I strongly encourage you not to try this 87MG or vaping anything over 36mg all day long. There is a reason that most juice companies will only sell 24MG Ejuice and some that may offer 36mg juice too but not many. As far as getting higher, ya sure you can, but it's ONLY INTENTION is for cutting down to make eliquids, not meant to be vaped at 87 or even 48mg as an all day vape. By all means guys play it safe with this hi MG Nic juice as well as keeping it in a safe place in your home, especially if your storing 50-100mg. Put it in a safe place where no one or any pet can get to it and educate yourself as much as possible if your using any 100mg or hi MG to DIY. Triple check your numbers when your DIY mixing when using high grade high MG Nic juice. It's not something to mess with at all and reading up on this is to educate yourself on the subject is smart to do if your buying high MG juice to DIY.

Just saying, BE SAFE !!!:)

Nah, I'm playing, thanks Maxx, but that's a bit strong for me even. I've got blood pressure issues on top of everything else, so I've got to watch it, even at 36 I can feel my chest getting tight.
Once I get my pain level down to tolerable I think I can make the switch easy, I'm just not getting that instant gratification that an analog seems to provide, and I am using them as a crutch right now also. Not a good thing I know!
Hopefully things will change in the next couple of months.

you're aware the lethal dose of nicotine in human adults is around the 40-60mg mark right?
Nicotine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm surprised you're even still breathing to be honest.

One good thing is you're now probably a brilliant pest control device against cockroaches. You only have to breathe on them and they'll go belly up

According to most studies, one gets about 1mg of nicotine from smoking one cigarette. I smoked about 50 cigs per day...so I was getting 50mg per day. Now, based on the few studies we have on e-cig absorption, we are only getting about 10% of available nicotine, from vaping, into our systems. To get vaping to the levels of smoking I would have to vape through over 10 ml of 47mg/ml strength stuff. That's over 10 full cartos. To get to toxic levels which are estimated at about 65mg for a man my size...even more. And that would have to happen in a very short period of time since nicotine breaks down rapidly in the body.

Fact is....I am getting a mere fraction of the nic I used to get from smoking...even vaping 36 or 47.

Lethal doses refer to what is in your body at a given moment....not what you consume over time.

On top of all of what you just said. People who use nicotine, just like people who drink caffeine or any other drug, can have a MUCH higher tolerance to the drug than people who have never used it.

This also varies depending on if your vaping at 3.7 or up to 7.4 and what Mod your using as well I believe and the vaping method your using, Carto, Atty, dripping, so on, either way just be careful, Nic intake varies in a few different ways plus its easy to run through 10ml's a day using say an AVS, so it all depends, everyone doesn't just use a V4L Batt, either way any way just be safe that's the only point I was trying to make in my post, 47-87-100 are very high levels of Nic to be vaping

Absorption is really the key issue here. There are no definitive (known) studies...and without them, the nic numbers we see that go from 0-36 are really arbitrary. If vendors only sold 36, nobody would consider it high or dangerous. We take it that way simply because it is the high end of a large scale. Now if manufacturers do have studies showing what those numbers really mean in terms of effect...then they should be disclosing them. If they don't have studies....then they pretty much made them up and are leaving it to us, the users, to determine what they mean. Not at all ethical mind you....but nothing in business is. All I know for sure is the New Zealand study and the one done by Dr. Eissenberg show low to very low absorption.

Personally....I find nicotine to be self-regulating at high numbers. When I have enough...I just don't have the desire to vape....so don't. Just like real cigarettes....
