thanks for the vid twisted.
does the battery contact point of the 3D in hybrid mode adjust? im wondering if there would be any battery rattle. i know you can adjust the bottom of the mod, but sometimes that makes the throw too short or long or whatever.
also, after youve been sing it for a bit, doe the top cap still stick or does it plunge up and down more easily with some use? if so i might take the advice earlier to get some silicon o-rings for when i get mine.

Valid concerns......

You do not stuff the chamber with cotton, many people don't realize less is more when using cotton. My wicks are just long enough to touch the deck with the pump in action meaning the fill/drain valve is clear. When in dual coil mode if you block the fill/drain valve or have it on one side you will have wicking problems with the other wick/coil. I always put the hole under one of the negative sides which seems to be working great over the last week +.

If you fill (or overfill) and don't "pump" it the atty will leak if left at an angle. This is true for any atty with too much juice in the well.

After a few builds and tanks it is perfect. Of course it is not fool proof and nothing is.

thanks for the info regarding the 3D leaking. would it leak if the bottom chamber was nearly full or even half full and the deck was dry? ...maybe youre saying it simply leaks from teh deck and not the reservoir...
where does it leak from? does the liquid come out the valve, into the deck, and then out the air hole? this is troubling as the whole reason i wanted this atty is the perceived notion that it wont leak with the protection of the pump action valve.

...i think i may focus more on the origin dripper now that this one leaks too. i dont see any reason to spend the extra money. but i really want to lol.

It seems that your prototype 3D sticks when you plunge it for a recharge... what kind of o-rings are on it where the top slips into the base? They looked black, so not silicon? They need to be silicon so it doesn't stick, at least that is how the original is. Also, for the 3D proto, was it capable of dual air holes like original, or did they mess that up like they did on the Origen?

Regardless, waiting for mine. I wanted the original 3D, but one, hated the logo, and two, missed the sale every time they came available.

Vapingtech told me my prototype doesn't have silicon but the pre-order units will. They will also be sending me a silicon ring before the review thankfully...lol

I wont post a link here because it will DEFINITELY get removed. Not like half the worlds population doesnt have one of these. ;-/ Youtube it. i think im the only one (maybe besides Dimmi) who doesnt mind the 3D logo. i mean, its not my favorite logo in the world, but i kinda like it. i certainly dont mind it, thats for sure.

Just an update to this...vapingtech responded to my email saying they've read the thread about the silicone o-ring. The biggest problem they saw was not the o-ring but the waiting time. They have no knowledge of the specs for the o-ring and if they wait for China to send them the correct o-rings, then it would take us forever to have them ship the 3d to us.

It's one of those situations I guess...take it now or forever wait for China like fasttech mail lol. I don't know about you guys but I'm eager to receive the two clones I preordered. I'm going to mix and match the matte and polished because well...I can
