the back lid has slots to place magnets in to hold the lid to the mod the magnets are found on fasttech and are 16.5x3x3mm
you will need to drill the tactical switch hole and 510 wiring hole which is very simple...more info at thingiverse... i love the kayfun and for the 2.1mini this is my dedicated mod just for it... would like to hear your thoughts.

sure can but i thought id leave the option with the diy maker to decide how big he wants the holes....im just waiting on the tactical switch and 510 connector..once recieved a few quick measurements and its ready for shapeway.it should be ready in about a weeks time.ill update the files in thingiverse....p.s i wish my beard grew like yours! nice

65 dollars cost price for hard nylon plastic for the mod and another 16 for the lid (no profit included)... Although i think its a great idea i dont see how people would fork out that much total

$55 =sx350 chip
$80=my mod
$15= tactical switch and 510 connector
total 150 dollars that's just ridiculous

Very nice design, but I agree $150 for a DIY mod is a bit steep

dont understand why shapeways would be so expensive...it costs less than 5 dollars and 3hrs of time for a adverage household 3d printer, with print that would be more solid, to print this....i think there service is way to overpriced. i wish china would just hurry up and offer a shapeways style service....

hey braa...im still in the process of finishing the design..made a few alterations to the magnet lid and also made a single 18650 version..will be on thingverse within the next 2 weeks...still trying to find some time in my work schedule to jump on to the design software to finish it.

Agreed, Shapeways is prohibitively expensive. Much like a company like Provape, i'm sure they have a lot of other incurred costs, making what should be a relatively cheap service (product) expensive.

thought the dual was a bit big so i went with the single..i have another design in mind which would make it a lot thinner ...will be working on it soon.

ok so heres another of my designs styled after : Pyra by picolibre..
note this thing is a work in progress and i havent printed it as yet but have run all the repair aspects for printing.
...came across another magnet using custom mod so i thought id give it a sx350 version plus make it a tad smaller.wasn't to sure how many magnets to use so i made a couple of extra holes. you can find the files for printing on thingiverse for free under grip mod or sx350...ifor those who dont have a 3d printer i have uploaded the files to shapeways but i still need to make a print before i can offer it for you guys. the cost on shapeways is $80 lid and case.
