WWOOOOHOOOOO!!! Indy 500! Such a blast! My Avi is a tribute to it! That was last year's race. So much fun but DAMN cold! So unpredictable what the heck the weather is gonna do for it. Carb day was chilly too
I was??? I guessed May 5th break up? I don't even remember. So do I win a prize?!?!?!?!

(Carb Day, short for Carburation Day, the last practice day before the race. Indy cars haven't used carbs since 1963. (and NASCAR used carbs until last year)
And Gasoline Alley is where the garages are (but gasoline hasn't been used since 1965)
And they don't put "air" in the tires. (They use nitrogen, as it is contaminate free, no worries about water vapor in compressed air and stable/predictable as temperatures in the tire go up, a big concern as a quarter pound could be the difference between winning and doing what JR Hildebrand did...

Hi always yes its always a pleasure hey wheezal mad the third thread for us and angibe hit the magical 15000 post but they just broke up the dust is still flying high you usually are shiny by now hows everything we have some new peeps here cinder likes mexican food evie is dripping and of course diva as well as can be expected to get warmer fran is even getting warm her snow mounds might melt soon it will be cinco de mayo oh yea angibe put mayo in the sink for sinko de mayo it was the post of the day what why yes i think another margarita is in order to process your claim you need to drink up.

Was at that race too..actually, haven't missed an Indy race since 2005, we went to Michigan that year. Great times, great memories. But Carb day is the BOMB!

You kno Wheez...I show him a pic of a sink with a jar of Mayo in it and he got all huffy. Stomped his feet and broke up w/meh. I think he didn't have enuff tequila and bacon for lunch.
