Cheese steak in a crock pot? This I'd hafta see.

I'm brining some thick cut bone in pork chops. They look like fat little T bone steaks. Brine for about 2 hours, then pan sear, oven to finish, and mmmnnnnnn.

Along with noodles with the garlic cream cheese sauce and some salad, a glass of Stella, and we're set!!

It smells amazing, they should be here shortly so I'll let you know how it all went haha.

The recipe is

2lbs round steak, sliced thin
2 green peppers, sliced
2 onions, sliced
3 cups beef stock
1 Italian dressing seasoning packet
Provolone cheese slices
Sautéed mushrooms optional

Cook 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Add cheese and mushrooms to sandwich, bake for a few minutes if desired to "toast" sub and melt cheese.

It smells like the cheese steak restaurant grill near us. Granted I've never been to Philly, but from what I've had before smells just right.

Evening all! Was a lovely 60 degrees here today! Not that I got out much to enjoy it. Was cleaning ALL. DAMN. DAY.! Then the favorite niece came over and I instructed her in making a flannel infinity scarf. She was so pumped! By the time I got supper on I was whooped. Hope all had a wonderful day today.
