Hello all. Quite a storm. I thought it's be worse when I woke up, but then again, it's still going. High winds and snow! It looks as if NYC got spared, but the storm is curling in and is still hitting our area.

It's hard to tell how much snow we got so far, cause it is really windy, but I'll guess 10".

And it looks like it will continue all day.

The snow stopped, but the fierce winds continue. And thanks, AngieBe for reminding me of this. Thank God we didn't lose power. I can't imagine trying to hook up, start and keep the generator running with this wind and cold.

In fact, I'm not sure it did stop snowing. It's blowing all over.

psyc, NYC dodged a big one. Parts of long island are 30"+. You picked the right week to vaca, my friend.

We have maybe 8" on the ground with drifts of 3ft. And all shoveled out. Buy way cold. 15F but the wind makes it worse than those 3F mornings.

btw, did I say how happy I am that I don't have to stand outside to smoke?
