4.2v or 4.5v regulated mod.... anybody make one.

I have a vv mod and seem to leave it at 4.2 or 4.5 volts. does anyone make a mod that's just 4.2v regulated. prefer a tube but box would be ok. My epower comes of the charger at 4.2 and works great til the voltage drops, still works good but not like a fully charged battery. Thanks, Al

All it takes is a different resistence value when you make your next "5v" box mod.
But I agree, my VV has been set at 4.5v since I first set it up.

I have a buz pro that stays on 4.25 volts for three different cartos, sometimes I crank it up in the morning to get a quick fix. Never made a 5v mod , could probably do it but don't have the electic know how for resistors. some one should make some tube mods with two batts that are regulated to 4.25 volts. no muss no fuss just the sweet spot. A box would be cheaper and would be ok as long as it wouldstand up with a tank on it.

I understand most people like the mid 4ish range but extra electronics would need to be added for the regulators out now and even if they weren't the price difference on a 4.2 or 4.5 regulator if they existed would be next to none in comparison to the vv regulators out so we wouldn't be saving much, if anything. Just get a VV and set it where you want it, then you've got a regulated mod of your voltage choice.

Your epower (14650 or the 18650 one) might come off the charger at 4.2 volts but loaded wth an atty/carto is only 3.8 to 3.9 or so. 4.2 from your VV should seem a little hotter than the epower. I agree that the best way would be a VV and just leave it set.
