I only seem to be able to vape at this voltage or it floods after a couple of draws. Vapeing at 4.5 seems to much with some of my flavours. Anyone else have this problem?

Really. I don't understand why mine floods below 4.5. I draw slowly for about 6 seconds. If I go below I am constantly having to take drip tip off and put paper towel down chimney to dry it out.
Always the largest. Just trying grants vanilla custard for the first time and it needs to be at a lower voltage. Never been able to go under 4.5 in the 4 weeks I've had my mautilus I have tried many times.
Do you think if I use a heavier vg liquid (which I think is thicker)? It might wick slower and stop flooding on lower voltages ??
Just a guess but I think at the largest setting you'd really have to draw very hard or run the risk of flooding. It hasn't happened to me but I could see how it would happen. You should try it on the smallest setting at same voltage and see if it still floods.
I thought the smaller the air hole the more liquid gets pulled in ?? Will give it a go though
Now that I think about it I'm not sure myself - I think it really comes down to how you take your draw. But I still think it would still be a good idea to try the other sizes as it might help you narrow down the problem. Make sure the coil is in there tight as well. And there is always the possibility that the device is defective.
