.4 ohm

Hey guys! I am in need of a new mod. Thinking of going box but my favorite build is .4ohm dual parallel. batteries hate me. I wanted the IPV3 until I found out about the charge port. IPV2 would be ok but I'm not sure if 50w is enough for me. The next choice would be like a hexohm or maybe a t8. What suggestions do you guys have without killing the bank account?

I like my hexohm build down to .14 ohms on the V2. Plus it has the lifetime warranty. Don't get me wrong I like my other box mods too but I can't send them back to get fixed for free...

My only issue with the hexohm is there is no screen to actually see what everything is set at. It's just a dial. That being said I use it more than any of my other mods.

Math is good for you.

2 parallel coils means 4 coils.
Your wattage is therefore split 4 ways - Even though it doesn't quite work out that simply.

So here's some numbers on your .4 ohm build.

30 watts = reduced watts runing through each resistance wire, resulting in a pretty lackluster 3.46 volts, which is lower than native battery output at full charge.

50 watts = this comes out to 4.47 volts, which it running pretty hot, especially with the twist. It's about the top end I'd suggest for anything but a dripper, and you're gonna cook the juice off pretty fast.

100 watts = 6.32 volts - cloud chasing flavor destroying territory. Not saying it's wrong, saying that you'll probably spend more on juice than you did on cigarettes... but the 100 does give you the ability to have the most head-space above your casual vaping settngs....

Yeah I go through about 60m a week but anything less is not satisfying to me. I can also fill a room up with vapor in no time lol! The math doesn't work out quite the same as single coils because they kind of act as one but not totally. As you said not that simple hehe! I just love the flavor it makes over say a 8 wrap and the ohms are lower as well. To build the same ohm single wrap is so hot it has no flavor on the Dark Horse. Now my kraken i usually build it around .5
With 2 single coils and thats where it works best. I am not as happy with the amount of vapor on it but thats as good as it can do without dripping right on it. I also drilled out the wick holes so i can run 90% vg as well as my usual 70/30
