I played around with different nicotine levels as well ... settling on 6mg rather than 3mg, as 3mg kinda just held a steady state rather than take away real cravings.
I think when you're down to 1-2 cigs a day ... no longer sure if that would rank in the real cravings level ... maybe something else is driving it.
Maybe upping nic level would help, but when I tried it ... didn't really do a lot, in terms of removing the last cigarettes.
I see it as a process rather than a big step ... while not completely free myself yet ... each day keeps getting better ... so I would expect the last few cigs to fall of quite naturally. Though you may have to push thru to get rid of the last few cigs. Persistence pays off.
