Ok, I have posted a few times about my juices just tasting like nothing at times and I have figured that part out and understand it. But during this time I have had one thing that has been pretty consistent when it comes to tastes of juices. I seem to be able to taste pretty much every fruity flavor I have tried from start to end of cart. Certain things like caramel and coffee I can also taste from start to end of cart.
My problem seems to be with tobacco flavors. Here is what happens almost every single time. I fill up a cart, throw a couple drops on the atty and put the cart in. The very first vape, what ever flavor of tobacco I am vaping at the time comes through loud and clear. I can taste it just fine. After the second or third hit, its gone. No more taste for the rest of the cart. I can grab another e-cig with a fruity flavor in it and try it and sure enough, I can taste it, This just seems to happen to me with tobacco flavors.

I vape anywhere from 4-6 carts a day, so I dont think I am vaping to much. It seems there are lots of folks around that vape a ton more than I do and dont seem to be having issues.
I use an eGO and I have tried it with blue foam, cut down blue foam, polyfill and cut down pollyfill (Meaning just enough polly inserted into the cart to keep the juice from leaking). Even dripping the same thing seems to happen. And dont get me started on carto's. They seem to take away a lot of the flavor of anything that I am vaping. Some are new bottles, some are old bottles (if you consider a month as old) it just doesn't seem logical as to why I cant taste it.

So basically, Here I am with some good tasty tobacco flavors and after the first or second draw on the flavor, it is gone. Any idea what is going on here? Why is it my fruity flavors dont have this problem but my tobacco flavors do?

The very first week I started vaping, I could taste it the entire time but since then, it is only that first or second hit and then no more. I have tried these on my 3 510's, my 510 5v passthrough and both of my egos and they all do the same thing. Even with a brand new atty.

OK, So a little update since I wrote this. I broke out another new atty. Blew the gunk out of it and pulled out one of my 510 batteries. I put it on the 510 battery with new atty and new cart. I vaped a cart of maple tobacco and tasted it all the way through. So I blew out the atty real good, put a few drops of VG in it and puffed on it to help get out the maple flavor.

So next I tried my oldest juice which is the first juice I bought, Cherry tobacco. Nothing, no flavor, as a matter of fact, it actually tasted kinda bad. I did pick up a faint hint of cherry but it almost tasted like perfume. I shook the bottle for a couple minutes and noticed it mixed up and was now kinda cloudy. It was almost completely clear before. I tried that and now it just tasted real chemical like. I guess that juice has went bad.
I then tested applewood on it by just dripping (my second oldest juice). It tasted just fine.
I then tested a few drops of honey flue nut. It tasted fine also.

I tried all these in my eGO that fruity flavors and even menthol taste fine in. No taste again. So what is up with that? Do I need to dedicate an atty to just tobacco flavors? If that is the case, do I also need to dedicate an atty to just coffee flavors to? Why is it the other attys work just fine for fruity flavors but make tobacco flavors completely tasteless?

I rinse out my attys usually at least once a day to every other day under hot water for a good 1-2 minutes. I blow out the excess water a couple times during the rinse to help get out the current flavor that is in it. Then when done, I blow it out once more and then do 3-4 dry burns of 3-5 seconds each (as is recommended by the manufacturer)and its ready to go again.
If tobacco flavors are the first thing in it after that, I still get that one puff of the taste and then gone. The fruity flavors and even cherry cola flavor tastes just fine. I really am stumped on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with my tobacco flavor, but I think it's because a smoker gets used to analogs quick, and the tobacco flavor kinda just goes away. I don't know if I'm the only one with this perception, but I still smoke my tobacco one. :) Good luck, sorry I couldn't help, but I know how you feel o_o
