See that may be the problem, no one told me that mouth positioning was important to bass fishing.
I'll keep on with the blue gill, they like hot dogs, and don't require facial expressions.:)
Yeah my buddy used to always out fish me.......always had this weird facial expression though.....I thought maybe he was slightly ......ed. One day someone told me the secrete you should see the 2 of us in a boat now:blink:

Hey zbasspro, I have a huge bass in my pond that I want to catch. He won't take the bait that the guy at the bait store said would work. HELP!!!!

Cheese in a can. Really. Put it on your fingers and rub the hook good. Works for me every time with really stubborn fish.
Good luck! :toast:

It's a half acre pond. And he taunts me. he swims by real slow when I'm fishing.
I tell ya he's asking for it.:glare:
So you're serious? If so you need a 6 inch Zoom trick worm rigged without a weight.....doesn't matter what color you use as long as it's watermelon red.:)

Are you going to cook him? Isn't he your pet since he/she is in your pond? They make very affectionate pets. :)

That reminds me of the very first time I took my son fishing. He was 4. We caught some catfish and cooked them up. He loved it.
We had an aquarium with a plecostomus that was named Ugly. (He really was) and when the catfish was all eaten, he hadn't had enough. He asked me "Why can't we cook ugly?":lol::lol: I still tease him about it. He's 31 now.
