Man..I am trying sooo hard not to buy a little sister. They look so awesome and I want a mod. I have the money..(financial aid) but I'm having a hard time justifying the purchase...because it seems frivolous...someone give me reasons! Go!

other than it being small and cute...I can give you no good reason... I really don't like mods that use 10440 batteries... so I'd reason against it...

the most rewarding mod is the one you build yourself!

Oh man..in that case I need to learn about electronics. My boyfriend is a woodworker..He just started grad school for furniture design...We were talking about how great it would be to make a mod like the phidius, but more awesome..more detail..better woodworking...he can build the outside, we just have no idea how to do the inside stuff..do they sell pre-made kits with instructions for this stuff? I know you can buy the...for lack of a better word..innards...and he knows basic electronics and how to solder...but I have no idea how things all go together.

and yea...I'm probably just going to buy the LS...because I do want a mod, I'm just using 510 batts right now and my sit n go...and I really want to know what vaping at different voltages is like..I mean sh**, you can return them or sell them on ECF, but I don't think I would feel the need to, given all of the good reviews...and yea..it's little and cute, damn it.

Well heck if he can build the boxes you could work something out with someone to send them 2 boxes they build the mods and return you one, or something like that. I spent 7 years in school and working as a machinist many years ago.....if I have access to that equipment I'd build boxes and pair up with someone. boB

lol there's like 3 or so wood box mods out there now... the phidias, the REO, and 2 from Welcome to R&R Manufacturing - Handcrafted Battery Box Mods (the ali'i and the journeyman).... it's some basic woodworking...just having the space carved out on the inside for what ya want.... madvapes has a few tutorials and parts....the electrical really is "basic"...

as for the VV ...well I have serious doubts that the 10440 battery can really accurately deliver what it says..( the concepts of battery max drain versus amp draw pretty much say otherwise even ran in series...)

DC they mentioned the $ that these vendors here pay at vapefest, and you'd be shocked! Yeah there's more advertising popping up. Hey, I aint complaining, I got a great place to play...but this site is a cash cow!

i thought i read $40/mo somewhere - and then a bunch of new rules. if i was making money selling stuff i'd rather pay the $40 to NOT be listed as a forum supplier and b bound by lots of rules i think r stupid. but that's because if i started selling stuff it'd be passive because i'm no salesman. i'm more the type that:

"yeah i can do this and have this available, if u want, for this much." "no? that's great too, let me know if u ever change u'r mind"

i just don't have the personality to even try to drive sales.

Sorry, I am the last one to help with that. I had no good reason. In fact I have never even seen a mod in real life. I just figured everyone should have at least one really good device to fall back on.

they're not that hard to do if u'r even just ok working w/ u'r hands.

on a side note, i'd build any mod i could figure out for some1 if they provided extra materials or some arrangement of any kind was made.

Hi Everyone!

hey VD

Yea, I had only seen the phidias, the reo and the jouneyman...the Ali'i is really cool looking. I saw the parts through madvapes too...
