Suggestion: Since the cartomizer provides a different experience than a traditional cart and atty, why not get the model that was designed for it: Kr8. All an e-cig model is: is a certain type of atomizer and a certain type of battery. [The cartridge is secondary; it just, more or less efficiently, provides juice to the atty.]
You need more than two batteries anyway. So get a couple 280 mAh true-3.7V Kr8 batteries (and charger) and some Kr8 cartos, i.e., a Kr8 starter kit.
I walk around with three different e-cigs in my shirt pocket: Joye 302 penstyle (on a Kr8 batt), Kr8 carto on an XL Kr8 batt, and a 510. I drip tobacco juice into the 302 and mint-chocolate into the 510 ... and have a menthol carto on the XL Kr8. [Psst: I also keep a DSE905 with 510 and 901 atty in my pants pocket as backup, but that's obsessive-compulsive, so don't tell anybody.]
