45mm cartos for the U DCTank

I recently got my carto tank, U DCTank 6ml by smok, and it works great. But I bought a drip tip to go along with it, and it doesn't fit in my Boge F16 cartos, which I've read is a common problem. It's not too small (o-ring problem) it's too big (carto diameter problem). So frustrating.

I ended up ripping the crappy drip tip out of a disposable clearo, wrapping it with a little electrical tape and cramming it in. So it looks... Fine...

Just wondering if all 45mm cartos will fit in my tank, and if there's ANYTHING similar I should know about other carto models before I buy them.

I like the Smok 1.5 ohm dual coil cartos. And they will fit the tank.

Yeah, drip tips are not standardized, unfortunately. They claim to be, but they're not. This means that, unless you're married to the drip tip, I'd get another one rather than search for a carto to fit your existing tip.

You're in Seattle, so there are some B&M shops where you live that you could go to with carto in hand to try different tips. Save your current tip, though, as it will fit in other devices should go branch out beyond cartos.

Yeah, I was thinking of going to do that today or tomorrow. Unfortunately most b&m's that I've been to have 2 or 3 tips, all plastic, at least from when I've asked for drip tips (not often). And even if I do get another one, I still want to use this one after these cartos all die, to complete the look of my PV.

The F16 is the only non-standardized carto that I know of. I would have thought they would have rectified this by now.

All other cartos are pretty much interchangeable. I'm sure tips vary and some people have to go to the local hardware store for different o-rings.
