48 Hours smoke free

I can't believe it. I recieved my Vapor4Life kit on Thursday, and I have not smoked since.

Some observations. I drive a van for a living, and i absolutley love not having to roll the freakin window down to have a puff. I also love the fact that when at home, i do not have to go outside in the freezing cold to have a puff.


Im not crazy about the flavors i ordered, but the dunhall 18 mg Cool Cart is not bad.

The biggest thing for me is the throat burn, even more so then the taste or the vapor produced.

I have already ordered 3 more flavors , hopefully something will really hit the spot for me.

I am simply amazed that i have had zero urge to smoke since getting the ecig.

I absolutley love the batteries, with the XL push button being my favorite.

Great website, can't wait to learn more.

Congratulations!! For throat hit go with high PG juice. VG makes a lot of vapor but has very little throat hit. As your taste buds grow back in the next week your tastes will likely change pretty dramatically so get a variety of flavors. I have found some that were loved on day one I no longer like. Those I was not fond of taste yummy. This changes daily. Found the coffee flavors have more TH than most others.

Congrats on the first 48. I think finding that one flavor is the hardest part of getting started. I am still working on finding my true all day vape but I am only on day 5 and my taste buds change everyday so I think it will be a little while until I can finally settle on just a couple of flavors. Besides it is nice to have a change of flavor once in a while.

Throat hit is important to me, too. From Vapor4Life I love Wow Coffee, Wow Peppermint, Wow Pancake and Wow Black Licorice - all in 24mg. All have a terrific throat hit and taste great.

Wow fantastic you guys. This site is very active. I love it. I do have the car adaptor, but i did not realize that i could use the pass thru on it. Pretty cool, although i have found that the XL battery has a very long charge.

I hope to find a flavor that i really like soon, so as not to waste too much money. The VG definatley has lots of vapor, but no throat hit at all. I will never order it again. Ditto the Kamel flavor.

I wonder, does the amount of nicotene direclty affect the throat hit ? The only flavor i got in the number 8 was the VG.All others were 18 and give a great throat hit.

Congrats and welcome! You sound exactly like I did when I discovered e cigs a little over 2 weeks ago. I just found it so hard to believe that I could lay down the analogs so quickly. My noob for a juice to try: RY4.

VG and low nic levels both dull the throat hit. Try the Wow varieties of cartos in 18-24mg. I think the Wow has a 80/20 PG-VG ratio or thereabouts.

Nic content does add a lot to the throat kick.

I don't care for 100%PG. Gives me a sore throat to go with the throat kick. Then again, If I'm awake, I vape.

I've settled on a 60/40 PG/VG blend for my DIY juices. There are plenty of 70/30 and 80/20 pre-mades out there. Best of both worlds IMO.

Congrats on the 2 day smoke free run. Amazing how easy it is to replace the analogs with vaping isn't it.

Also, for a better taste and TH, you can use Bitter Wizard flavour.

Make sure your adaptor is rated at least 1amp (1000 mAh) better at 2amp (2000 mAh). If amperage is too low the atty/carto won't work properly.

Congrats Bob! I am on Day 5 of no vaping. I gotta tell you, the Vapor 4 Life juices are my least favorite out of any I got. I actually went into their store/warehouse. I live near them. I tried a bunch of flavors there. I guess I just don't like the Wow juices.

The throat burn went away for me after a couple of days

I just find that blend to carry flavor well, but not so drying as with higher PG ratios. I also find that 100% VG leaves a oily type residue in my nasal passages so I kind of wonder how good that can be in the lungs. Fogs up my car windows too.

I do need to try both the Bitter Wizard, and Vape Magic.

Congrats on getting to 48 hours!!! The first 48 are the hardest. I'm at 11 weeks, I have no compulsion to try analogs again. My suggestion is make sure you have backup juice, backup batteries, backup carts/atomizers or cartomizers. Don't let something silly send you back to analogs. I have backups for my backups, I don't wanna go back. I smoked for 45+ years.

Grats on 48 hours... I am sure it is more like 52+ now.

I also highly favor the throat hit and a warm intake. In my first posts here it was suggested to me to get cartomizers that were DUAL COIL 1.5 ohm. I also got a few others, and some Atomizers, but I am always coming back to those 1.5 Carto's. The warm hit just makes it seem more smoke like, and that is what I needed. For now at least. That and certain flavors like Coffee and Vanilla really give it that punch I like.
