The throw of the switch on my 52mm, 4Nine was too long. This is how I fixed it.
Bought some 8mm / 3mm magnets from the hardware store to replace the extra magnet that came with the mod. Removed the magnet that was too small and put in one of the larger magnets. Then, when I put it back together, it started auto firing. So I took a small rubber band that came with one of my RDAs and wrapped it around the 18350 mode threads toward the middle of the tube. Screwed it back together, not too tight so I wouldn't break the small rubber band. Now the switch is perfect and it hits great
.
My only question concerning this fix is how the small rubber band affects conductivity, voltage drop etc. Feel free to chime in on that.
Two other possible remedies that I haven't tried: 1. using a button top battery; 2. using a 2mm magnet.
