i figured you guys would get a kick out of this so ill tell you my story of how i was an idiot.. LOL.

i got a copper 4nine clone because i wanted to move into mods since they are beautiful to look at and fun to vape on. it came in and i didnt do enough research as to how the battery was supposed to be installed since i figured it was self-explainatory. after charging up a few vtc4's and building a .3 on my mephisto i set it all up and started vaping on it. i noticed battery rattle and the button felt wrong.. it was really heavy and i didnt understand why. i was thinking to myself "man i hope its not the clone vs authentic. i checked the insulators, checked the atty pin, everything seemed kosher.

i kept vaping on it and just dealt with the fact that it was a cruddy button.. until it kept misfiring on me. i decided to do some research to see if anyone else was having similar problems or not, and i kept seeing in threads that "the battery should be floating". i didnt understand this.... that was until i was changing batteries and i dropped the button.. and BOOM! the second magnet popped off the button! i realized that when they shipped it to me they had the button and battery magnet together and i never realized that there should be 2 magnets, one on the battery, and the button (being a magnet itself), and they needed to be opposite (resisting each other). i stuck the one to the bottom of my battery and popped it in the tube and i saw what "the battery should be floating" meant. LOL good god did i feel like a fool.

long story short she hasnt misfired on me since and everything is buttery smooth. :vapor:
