5 Days and no analogs, better late than never huh?

I have been a vaper for since late January, once a pack a day smoker I had cut back to half a pack with vaping. I was using it more as a Vape at work and inside at home thing. I tried to give up analogs but never really had the drive to do so. I started using 18mg juice and an Ego with a 510 Atty and standard Carts. Than moved up to the tank still at 18mg, still was smoking about 10 analogs a day.

Now I found my sweet spot! My Ego battery strapped to an Ego Mega Dual Coil Carto filled with 24mg. it has been 5 days since my last analog. Quite frankly I really haven't had the urge to go back. I started by Setting up "rules" for my self (Mainly to break habits).

1) No Smoking before noon (usually get up between 7-10) Break that first cig habit!
2) Absolutely NO smoking in the car! Another smokers weakness/Trigger.
3) Only 2 Cigs at work. I work in a very well known Pizza chain, my store is layed back and smoke breaks occur whenever you can step away from your job with out interrupting service.

I made my rules, and actually stuck to it! I went from maybe 10-15 cigs a day, to 2-5. Basicly a pack a week. By week 2 I still wasn't ready to "end" my relationship analogs. Week 2 Smoked the pack Again in about 6 days. Week three I saw no point in buying another pack. I though 3 cigs a day cant be doing much for me (Nic wise) anyway. I haven't looked back! I haven't been happier! Good riddance analogs, its not you..its me. Maybe if you clean up your act I will come back. Like that will ever happen!

Anyhoo. Thats my story! 5 days no smoke and I am Damn proud!

Well done for kicking the habbit and sticking to your rules!!! You will feel better with each day you a free from the cancer sticks. I will keep my fingers crossed that you manage to keep off them for good.

I'm on the same path right now; after 15 years, I quit analogs Saturday morning. I spent the rest of the weekend vaping on my eGo like mad with some ecoPure Rich 24mg and some Ahneeda Fruit for something syrupy and sweet. Picked up an eGo-T atty/tank after a couple days and keep it in my pocket or on my desk all day so I'm not fiddling around with carts and juice constantly. I'd never smoked inside before, but the weather's been ... this week, so I can stay in my office, vape when I feel a craving, and keep working. (I work out of my house).

Going out with long-time party/rocker friends tomorrow night for dinner and his birthday at a bar; I've got a couple cartos and a tank ready to last the night. Bar nights were always what got me back smoking in the past, but I'm looking forward to coming home and not feeling & smelling like ....

Well at the one week mark, Still no analogs cant wait to get to the month mark.

Thanks James! I thought rules were important in breaking the habit slowly. Especially those times a smoker always wants to light up.

Congrats nofferman, I am hoping your bar night didn't lead you back to analogs as it has in the past! The Ego-t is a solid device, I finally hit my stride with an Ego Mega dual coil, thing hits like a truck!

Snowblind. I am in the same situation as you before you tried the Ego Mega Dual Coil Carto. (Still can't loose those one off analogs) I am looking into buying a few of these. Could you tell me how long the cartos last? Is there a cleaning process to make them last longer like atomizers?

While I was still smoking about 10 analogs a day a EMDC Lasted about 30 days for me, that was 50ML of juice, now that I have quit smoking I found my EMDC got blah at around 16days, Still that was 50ML of juice. To me I will toss once I kill my bottle I found 50ml to be the life span. It still worked but the burnt taste came and went.
I made a spread sheet because I am a nerd! Even after 16 days of use, the bottle 13.49 + Ego Mega dual coil 2.49 + Shipping 2.99 = about $1.15 a day to vape. It is an easy choice for me to keep using it for about 2 weeks and scrap it. I really don't care about cleaning it I just vape it until its dry enough for my liking and pitch it (Saving the Rubber tip) who knows when that will come in handy.

My Experience is really 2 EMDCs Maybe not enough Time to get a real average but I am happy with what I found.

P.s this thing hits like a truck. It took a little to adjust to but it was WELL worth it! My first fill I use a luer lock syringe @3ML to fill the bottom up. Than i Drip from than till I toss it. For 2.49 plus shipping, and at the risk of losing about 3-4 ml of juice if you hate it. just give it a try. it cost a pack of cigs total, and will last WAY longer!

I stocked up my EGo-T kit and survived a pretty busy weekend - dinner, bar, college football party today (On Wisconsin!) and even showed my mom how to use her SmokingEverywhere Gold she had gotten but never opened. Maybe I can make a convert of her

Congrats to all that are staying off the analogs, esspecially Snowblind & Nofferman. I'm at 4 weeks myself. There are times analogs call to me, but so far I've resisted. The calls are coming less & less. I drive a lot, I'm a field service rep. When I was smoking, I'd mindlessly smoke in the car, so I keep a 510 with some low nic juice in it. But, I got an eGo with high nic (24 mg) in it for when I NEED a vape. Works for me & what you gotta find, is a system that works for you.

Congratulations Snow. I smoked for 40 years and never thought i could quit. I tried everything for the last 20 and couldnt do it.
Thanks to vaping, im coming up on 6 months of no cigs. I tried one or two just to see and they tasted terrible.
