Counting the days till my first vacation.....starts a week from Monday!! Going to snuff it up big time!!

It's funny you say that Wiz because the kids wanted rootbeer floats and the wife just bought some rootbeer which we usually never have. So come on and scoot up to the water cooler and I'll pour you a glass.
Hitt......There is nothing better than A&W rootbeer served in a frosted mug!! It's my beer of choice!

I'm not sure why but I've never been much of a rootbeer person. I sure did love sweets when I was a kid though. You can tell by all the fillings I have.
me too.....You can tell by all of the teeth I "Don't" have....or was that from the smoking? Probably both!

I think the sweets were the beginning and the smoking was the end. Now it's time for damage control. I don't think I would have went ahead and gotten my braces on last fall if I was still smoking like I was before.
Hitt........I have 1 more trip to the Periodontist scheduled for Monday....I have really noticed a BIG difference in my teeth since I started going....No plaque or tarter build up at all...and it looks as if my gums are slowly starting to cover my teeth once more. I have learned my lesson....My teeth are here to stay now...LOL!

I do that too. I still have a pm from OTD that had his address in it from when I sent him some general wintergreen that I didn't want. I should just add him to my address book but I'm too lazy or something. I had another aquaintance on the forum several months ago that no longer posts and still keep a few of her pm's. I know OTD is doing ok but wonder about some of the people we don't see any more. I wonder if they went back to smoking full time or what. Speaking of people we don't see, have you heard anything from TV? I wish I had his email so I could at least say hi to him. I thought for sure he would post after he got his thunder test series a while back.
Hitt.......I think TV is taking the Summer off to spend time with the Little Twisteds......He did mention that he will be back in the fall! I heard from OTD the other day(via e-mail),he is doing well and enjoying his break from the forum!
Both gone but not forgotten!(They'll be back!)

Yes I have emailed OTD too to see how he is doing and it sounds like pretty good. I knew TV said he wasn't going to be around as much but I didn't realize it wasn't going to be at all for a while. That's fine. I understand their thinking and probably spend too much time on the forum myself. It's almost like an addiction sometimes.
It will be nice to have the whole gang back together in the fall when the weather starts turning, but I can definitely understand the we'd to get away for a while. Fortunately work, and most of my off duty interests, keep me relatively connected to the interwebs. This place definitely has some addictive qualities to it. Then again, with my personality, I could probably find addictive qualities in darn near anything.
And to think (oopsie, here I am going on topic, what's WRONG with me ) at one time, I had more posts than the Wiz.
