2x TF 14500 from blacktactical costs me $6. Their cinergy batt charger works like a boss. Suitable from RC123 to 18650 and even nimh batts. The charger auto detects the type of batts and can mix charge them. Costs $30

Sim lim tower basement. Loads of formats to choose from. 2aa 3aa 2aaa 3aaa wanna go big? 4aa oso have. lol
buttons oso there. but bear in mind, you need those that can tahan 2-3amps and avoid the clicky ones unless u intent to use MOSFETS. Look for those that has 230v ratings confirm can use, just a tad big. but some can fit on the battery boxes just fine.
