I posted this in another thread but realized it was way off topic, so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone can help.

I've bought 3 different 510 adaptors and every single one of them I've found are too long. the 510 threading is too long, the center post is too long and I can't get a flush fit onto any of my batteries, it's annoying as hell. All I can think of is grinding down the center pin a little bit with a fine dremel bit or something..

Does anyone know of a 510-510 sealed adaptor that is the correct perfect thread length to fit into the battery flush and the atomizer fit flush into the adaptor at the same time?

I get this.... (and these are *seriously* cranked down..)

All of my 510 Boge cartomizers/tanks stick out of my vamo like you mentioned, but fit perfectly flush on my kGo 1100mAh battery from hoosierecig. My vivi novas fit perfectly in both set ups. It just doesn't bother me all that much on the vamo as it feels sturdy even with the slight gap. Sorry, can't help with adapter advice.

My sealed 510-510 came with a thin washer thing that threaded onto the adapter if needed

Would certainly have to be a purpose made washer, I doubt anything from homedepot would be a perfect fit lol.

All of this is because I wanted to use a drip shield as the 510 attys are so damn leaky, but to use a drip shield with a nice ego thread cover I need the 510-510.. And I wanted a sealed just to save from having even more places for juice and condensation to collect.

Guess I'll see what these fit like on the Vamo V3 when it arrives.

I'm starting to get annoyed, having to order everything from pictures online. I'm pretty certain about half of the stuff I've ordered so far has been disappointing when I finally get it. :(
