I think i broke my Vamo VV

I got a 510 to ego adaptor so i could use 1 cart i had tha was just a bit to thick for the Vamo housing now that ive used it the 510 and ego threads won't work unless i use the adaptor, has anyone seen this before and hoiw could i have screwed them both up i did not put it on too tight and with it i can use both 510 and ego? but it angers me i just got it last week

you may have pushed the positive post inside of the VAMO down a little too far, try pulling the little brass piece in the center of the vamo's 510 connection up a little with a small screwdriver or small knife...but only slightly, you dont want to pull it out

Small needle nose pliers or tweezers also work well.

Well I got out my tiny little screwdrivers and very fearfully stuck it in and just gave a slight pry all the way around and son of a gun it got a little looser and BAM its all good again , thanks guys i was just getting ready to lose my .... , now i just feel silly but happy i just got a new tank i want to use and the adaptor will make it look a little silly

had a similar issue with mine, but it ended up really messing the center pin up. i put a 510-801 connector inside, and it popped the center pin loose. i tried to push it back into place with a screwdriver, and a teeny tiny clear (never to be seen again) o ring came out and left the center pin wiggling. total bummer. fortunately, i'd only had it for about 3 weeks, and the vendor was good enough to send me a replacement, which came today. i have heard that this is a pretty common malfunction, and i'm wondering if there is any way it can be fixed if it happens to me (or anybody else) again. as impressed as i am with the build, performance and overall quality for an apv at this price point that does so much for so little, when things like that happen, i get depressed. any advice would be greatly appreciated in the event of future issues. seems like a simple enough thing to fix...damned if i would know how to do it, though.

Hi Sgenn99 Seems to me a trip to the home depot to their plumbing section would be the place to start. They have O-rings there ranging in sizes enough to replace most anything on many devices. I use the .040 size rings for the drip tips when the original ones wear out.... just a thought.

I can tell you #47 o-ring in the plumbing dept. works great on drip tips if they are loose or wiggly.
