Welcome to ECF e-giannis

I am so sorry, but 1. is way too low for the eGo battery and you have fried it.

Just because it "fits" doesn't mean it's ok to use it :)

Hi. Yes, it is possible you have damaged the battery, but not guaranteed. I depends on the protection chip inside the eGo battery.
A Goblin probably won't work/produce much vapor, even with a resistance above the minimum. It's got two coils, it's going to need a certain amount of power (which you won't have) to produce vapor.

*edit* it does sound like you battery has suffered a permanent fault.

so if i build a dual coil on the goblin mini v3, how much resistance should i target?

If you have a mod battery (18650), you can aim to install 2 x 1.0ohm coils and start about there. I would probably try for 2 x 0.8ohm-1.2ohm coils, not worry too much to start and see how it works.
The resistance is halved (50%) with two coils, so 2 x 1.0ohm would work/read at 0.5ohm

So far as I know Ego batteries have a lower ohms limit of around 1.5, below which they just won't work. You may not have fried it, so try it with a suitable atomiser above 1.5 and you might be lucky. Then again you might not.
I have a clearo designed to use with eGo batteries (Vapros V-Spot), and the lowest resistance coil head made for it is 1.5 ohms, but I use a 1.8 ohm coil head in it. CE4 type clearo's measure in about 1.7, 1.8 ohms I believe.
