I'm not sure i think I flooded the first one. The 2nd one, no idea. How do you know if you A) flooded an atty or B) if one is too dry? What are some of the reasons an atty would suddenly not produce as much vapor? I'm using the tea bag method by the way and have my cartridge totally filled up....... I've been vaping on 2 atomizers for 2 days now Is it time to clean my attys? I've been blowing them out quite frequently.

I've had nothing but problems with 510 atty's. Through reading extensively this forum I've found that a vast majority of the genuine Joye 510 atty's are bad, straight from the manufacturer. That's unfortunate.

When I was fighting with my atty's I experienced no or very little vapor, burnt metal taste and the atty would never get red-hot.

I recommend you try to find non-genuine Joye 510 atty. You can contact various suppliers and ask if they stock the genuine atty's. If they don't then you should be good to go. Good luck.

I just got my Joye 510 on Tues. and you took the words right out of my mouth. I am having the exact same problem with mine. I have been trying to figure this out too. I have been on this forum for two days reading everything I can. I am so glad I came across this.

If you figure this out please let me know If I do I will let you know. lol:)

I took my two attys and dabbed out all of the juice from inside the atty with a paper towel. I let them sit a couple hours, grabbed a cartridge, took a triangular tea bag, tore it in half and put it in my cartridge. Then I dropped 13 drops of juice in it, dabbed the top w/a paper towel and put it in my atty. I let it sit for about a minute then I vaped and it was perfect. Tons of vapor smoke! I think my atty just kinda got gunky or something. I didn't use anything to clean it, I just let it dry out. Not sure if that is a good idea as I've heard people say to not let them get dry, so I dunno. Worked for me though. I try to rotate 2 atomizers. I think I will use one for the day while I let the other one sit upside down on a paper towel to drain. I also blew them out quite a bit. I'll report back if I have any issues or if it works. Good luck to those with 510s. I've had a 510 and a BLU now and have beeen vaping about a week. The 510 is like night and day compared to the BLU. The BLU really does BLOW. The 510 has been tons better.

All I use are genuine Joye atties, and I would assume they are far and away the prefered 510. They are superior to the cheaper high ohm clones. Tons of vapor and throat hit and they definitely get very hot. The 3ohm SLB/DSE 510 atties produce decent cool vaper, but the throat hit is not there. They're OK but they certainly don't hit like a Joye. And to recommend "non-genuine Joye 510 atty" seems like crap shoot as there are quite a few clones out there. You can get FL510 atties for about $3.50.

You can get washered, 3 ohm 510 atties, probably SLB/DSE here:

Titan 510 / Joye 510 / TECC 510 / VM 510 Replacement Atomizer

Shipping on small orders is $1.50 and prompt.

my Joye 510s work just fine. or did, until I used some bad juice in them. still trying to get them degunked... or whatever. overstuffed carts, too much juice, too little juice, atty flooded or TOO dry... all those things can cause issues. AND of course you occasionally will get a bad atty out of the box. rotating is a good idea and if one seems tempermental perhaps give it a break and let drain/rest/etc. :) somewhere there is a post about rinsing / dry burn cleaning process which takes 5 min or so and lots of ppl on this forum claim it's made old attys like new again. it is what I did to revive my attys after the bad juice, and it has helped.

let me find the link... ah, here it is: Atty Resurrection Method

Good luck, happy vaping!

I've been vaping since October, and I think out of the 15 or so 510 attys I've purchased, about 3 of them worked really well.

Usually, they don't produce much flavor or taste burnt. Then they're producing tons of vapor but zero flavor from the juice. It's really a frustrating thing.

I've bought attys from NHaler, Puresmoker, altsmoke. I've used regular 510 batts and a protege. The juices are from Nhaler and DIYFlavorshack. The common denominator seems to be these attys...

When they work, they work wonderfully for about 5 days, then they only fizzle. No red coils, nothing (yes, I've drained them). I've never had an atty work for more than five days straight, even the good ones that worked. I've thrown away more attys than I've actually used. There is definitely some sort of issue from the manu. They were all legit Joye510 attys (or so I'm told).

I've used the same juice in 808 cartos, with better results.
