i got two spare attys for my 901, and one works just fine, but the other acts stupid...
i screw it on, and i can drip one drop max, and if i even put a wetter cart on it, it floods out hard core.. blow it out its good to go.. however i cant get it to take enough juice to produce much vapor at all...
and when it "floods out" the led on the battery flashes like 10 times the second i go to take a drag, but if i unscrew thew atty from the battery and suck, the battery lights up normal, and i screw the battery back on while still sucking and it hits just fine for as long as i can suck...

is my atty just messed up or what?
basically it acts like its overheated if i stick any juice in it ...
i can fill my other two up liek no other and they are just fine.. they'll just stop producing vapor if i flood them. this one just acts stupid...

well flooded out as in too much juice.. the atty will work just fine with very very limited juice, but when you put enough in to get anthing over a small puff of vapor it will stop working..
but no , not juice in my mouth or between the battery and atty..
when it does the battery flashing, it will not send voltage to the atty.. its not the battery, it works just fine on two other attys... but yea when you put over one drop of juice int he atty , the battery light flashes 9 or 10 times as if the atty is overheated, or if the battery is dead, and it wont heat up the atty

Hey firdaddy, I've been having the same issues repeatedly with my atty. I'm not even sure what the model or anything like that, but from what I've seen and heard it sounds like a hardware problem. I've had 4 diff 2batty/1atty sets from a local distributor in dallas, ALL of them failed after a short time. could be any number of things. Sensor damage, calibration got thrown off in shipping, bad connection. either way it's probably going to get the label D.O.A. :/

I received a warranty replacement atomizer the other day and was half-way through a cart when I pulled the cart to have a look at the end and noticed that it was stained BLOOD RED!!!

I blew out the atomizer onto a tissue and the residual was also bloddy red. I was using Puresmoker Riskee Yuice. After blowing it out as much as possible I dripped in a few drops of tasteless PG and immediately blew it out again onto another tissue (see attached). Still blood red. Any ideas?

yupp I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem, not user error. I also got it from a distributer in Dallas, not going to mention names because it's not his fault.

but is the atty heating up at all? if it ISN'T heating up at all, then i'd wonder if it is getting a proper connection, try cleaning the threads? try loosening it a bit, try tightening it a bit...sometimes it will malfunction or work poorly if too tight or too loose.

just a thought, but yeah, it certainly could be defective, just seems weird that the battery is "reacting" to the atty. i had a bad atty once and the battery didn't care, it still worked, just the atty didn't.

Just an idea:

It could be a short circuit before the coil. It goes short circuit when you use more than just a drop of liquid because the "excess" liquid close the circuit of the Short.

The chip that comes with the battery has a Protection Module Circuit that has a short circuit protection and maybe is the reason why it blinks 10 times.

Sounds reasonable, dont you think?
