510 + bathroom = fail

So one of my two 510's just laned in the toilet! OMG OMG OMG eww. I looked at it for about 3 seconds and dove in to get it. After I washed everything (at least twice) I reasembled my 510 again.

Holy deleted it works!

I was totally expecting it to die after about 1 second of activation, smoke, fire, teh worst. I guess these things can get totally submersed and live.

Now I don't need to clean my 510 for another couple of weeks!

Anybody else have horror stories they want to share?

I am working on a lanyard, but in this case it wouldn't have worked. I was vaping on it.

Friend of mine decided his 510 needed to be cleaned
He sent his through a wash, Rinse and 2 spin cycles. Dried it out and works just fine.

Orthodontic silicone "rubber band" strapped low on atty...attached to clip style lanyard? Cheap and you can puff and wear it. Just an idea.

I vape on mine all day and it never leaves the lanyard. I figure the $20 is well worth the time it would take me to make something that would probably look like it was made at summer camp.

On the second day I had my PV, I set it in an ash tray I had not cleaned out yet so it would not roll around my computer desk. Then I went to throw all the old butts away, and my PV with it. It was a blu, though, so no great loss.

After only about a week having my screwdriver, I dropped it button end first on the concrete and snapped the button off. When I first started vaping I also dropped a 510 battery in my car and it rolled under the console. I had to take the console apart to get it out.

Second for the lanyard. I just got one for $12 from a seller here but after receiving it I would have no problem paying full price for another. Only downside is I just got a Tornado so yet another search begins.

i did the same thing last summer but it was a public loo, i fished it back out again and after thinking about it a while i decided i couldnt take the risk and promptly ditched the whole e-cig
