My atomizers never seem to fail...

After attempting to extract my own nicotine while waiting to realize the mistake I made of ordering from China, I took a look in the bathroom and found Biotene. Alcohol free, the one I have says with calcium. Anyway, ingredients : Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Xylitol... about 12 more 4+ syllable substances and 5 enzymes. Since ingredients are required to be listed in order by the amount that is in the product I figured this must be a good idea.
I put about 1/4 cup into a plastic bag (probably didn't even need that much) and shook it somewhat gently for a good 10-15 minutes and dumped the mouthwash out. Next, I filled the ziploc with hot water and shook it really good, dumped that and soaked it in a full bag of fresh hot water with about 5 drops of lemon juice and let that sit and soak for maybe an hour. I did the twisted paper towel sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes and shook it out, gave a blow to be sure.
Now you may have gathered that I don't have anymore juice but it makes beautiful vg vapor and I really don't taste the mouthwash, I smelled it just a teeny bit when I was trying to but other than that no trace. I'll be trying it again whenever my juice shows up, but it's been about three days and my 4081 is just fine! That burnt taste I had from dry burning is definitely gone. Oh, I was also sure to prime the wire with a hearty drop of vg.

I've been vaping for alittle over 7 months and I haven't killed an atty yet.I did throw one away that I used for dripping awhile (I had taken the wick out by mistake). I don't clean them just blow them out once in awhile and never let them get too hot or dry. What I've been doing is using the ones that get kinda clogged up after awhile (about a month) and use them on my Prodigy. Seems to bring them back to life. Still waiting to kill one he he.

Dont clean em and they will last longer..

I have tried every method there is on the board here and it doesnt prolong life of the atty and most of the time they die soon after cleaning . IMO

Usually they stop producing good vapor and then its just a matter of time til you dump it in the trash!

Attys dont last a long time at HV.
Most of the time they just pop and they are gone.
No wimpy vape, just die a quick death at HV>

If you do 3.7v you will get a lot of life from most attys.

Just stock up and always have some extras around.. :)

According to what I have read on this forum people's atomizers don't last very long. Also you can find numerous ways to clean them. I have been vaping 8 months and only had 3 atomizers die. I tried cleaning them with the methods described but that is when some of them die.

The only thing I do is blow them out occasionally. This does not seem to be the norm on this forum.

I also found that the Joye brand last longer than the off brands. Also the manual battery last longer than the automatic.
