Hi.

I've noticed a couple of times that the sensor in 510 batteries has a tendency to become less sensitive over time. After a while it's almost impossible to do a long draw, as the e-cigarette keeps turning off unless you suck all that you can. This tends to happen long before the battery cell is worn down, so I was wondering if there was any well-known way of restoring the sensor to its former glory.

I assume it has to do with condensing vapour leaving a residue on the sensor. Could this be dissolved somehow, and what's an appropriate solvent? Ethanol? Thing is it's almost impossible to take the battery apart without destroying it, and immersing the whole thing in a solvent strikes me as a bad idea, as it might short-circuit the battery cell, and solvent might make it into the cell itself (no idea what that would do to it).

Any ideas?
