Blue Foam Issues

I've been vaping for about a year now, and I decided to try the Blue Foam in my cartridges for my Mega XL atty on my eGo. I tried packing the foam inside just lightly, barely enough foam to stay inside the cart by itself. as soon as I filled it with ten drops or so, not even close to filling it I put it on the atty and watched the juice run down the side of the battery...

so I packed more in, its a snug fit, but it's not jammed completely with crushed blue foam. It is tight though. Now, the cart isnt leaking fluid, but it IS flooding the attomizer, even with just a handful of drops. vapor production is low, like you'd see on a flooded atty...

I've also found that I can't drip with the mega, the juice doesn't distribute right when I try 3 drops at a time.

Is this attomizer extremely picky or something? I had a mega cone that I loved to drip on, and it was just about perfect, but it burnt out on me and instead of reordering I got the eGo T, and it fouled on me in a couple weeks.

Is the mega unsuitable for blue foam and dripping? the perfect vape with this atty is when i load a cart into the atty, and it wicks the juice for a min or two, and then take OFF the cart and tail pipe it. Re Reading it that doesn't sound right.. the hit is perfect when you load a cart and let it wick, then take the cart out and vape it, and then repeat after 2 or 3 hits.

Sorry I don't know a darn thing about the size of the juice cup on the mega carts. The standard 510 cart juice cup is about the same width as the blue foam's thickness and the precut piece I got were just wide enough to help it stay in and not so wide that the holes in the foam get pressed closed. And the inner end was tapered for better wicking. And I have cut blue foam for tiny carts and when I do that I make the plug about 2/3 or 3/4 the inner depth,, a tiny bit wider, and tapered on the inner end.

Hopefully someone who uses blue foam in mega carts will look at this.

Well, thanks. From what I keep reading the blue foam is mostly used in the 510 attys. Guess I'll stay with poly fill for now. I wish the eGO-T didn't foul so fast or was easy to clean.

I have tried both the plug and the straw method, and it just wicks too much, it floods my attomizer. I'm thinking about going back to using the poly fill honestly.

You can always try cartomizers.
