510 Cartomizers vs KR808's

you can fill them the same way. they seem to me to vape about the same more or less.
I use the condom refill it works great and also like the 510 it burns a bit hotter it seems and creats a bit more vapor
I've been hearing that some prefer the 510 cartos but I don't see how they could be that much different myself, aside from the new low ohm ones.
I will say the higher ohm 808 cartos make the regular 808's pale in comparison imo.
I was going to start a new thread but maybe I can get some answers here.
I have been using 808 cartos on my V2 at 6V and have been pretty happy. But since all my gear is 510 basedand I have to use 510-901 adapters, I thought I'd try 510 cartos and see how they drove. I bought some from Nhaler and have been really disappointed! I like the atty portion of them - they sizzle and do a great job of vapor production. But they totally suck on refill and capacity!!! They came prefilled and ran dry after a really short time. So I read that the condom method doesn't fly too well so I did the recommended pop the cap and refill from the top. These cartos only had filler to about 1/2 way up the carto!! I swear I can only get about 5 - 7 drops in and it's saturated and flooded. I did the Taryn spin (or whatever its called) and made little to no difference.
Yet I've read that people are getting 30 - 40 drops in thier 510 cartos! So the question is, who is the best supplier to get them from that has cartos that people are satisfied with? I definetely recommend that you all stay away from the Nhaler cartos!!!! Waste of my e-cig budget (and it's a skinny budget now!!)
Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Are these Boge or SLB ... silver or brass threads??

The threads are silver and I'm looking at one right now. The filler and top of the atty end about 2/3 of the way up the carto. I just tried the condom method with a spin and 10 drops filled it and even left it flooded. No amount of spinning helped. I just think that these Nhaler units must be some off brand or something. I'm hoping that someone will tell me where they got their's that successfully get the claimed 30+ drops in so I can try them.
I use the ones from Eastmall.com (hardtop) and the ones from Vaporflow.com (softtop) and they are both from Boge and work wonderfully. I use the condom method and depending on the juice I can get any where from 30 to 50 drops myself. I can get more drops in with higher PG %'s. I've really loved my 510 cartomizer experience.
I just pulled the soft top off one of my 510 cartos from Mad Vapes and the filler is 3/4's of the way to the top. Your 2/3rd's seems not so good and may explain why they don't hold so much juice.
Another thing I have found since I just started using cartos 3 weeks ago is that I have become so used to having to refill carts so often that I have been refilling cartos when they are not even close to empty.

Bella - thanks for the input! That's exactly what I was after - a supplier and user experience. So if I understand it correctly, Boge makes both a hard top (I assume this means the harder plastic plug and clear washer underneath) and a soft top (assume like my Nhalers have a single softer plug). Is this accurate?

I totally agree with Turbo re: the 808 Turbos (higher ohm cartomizers) I use CigEasy Turbos and Vapornine Turbos and both are great - very good vapor production, consistent performance and last long. Once you go Turbo cartos there is just no going back.
Hey Bella - I looked on Vaporflow's site and couldn't find any 510 cartos. They only had 808's. Is this where you got your 510 soft top cartos?
the paper covering on these 510 cartos comes off after refilling otherwise they are ok.
I would stay away from those KR808 Turbo's. They give zero throat hit, at least the pre-filled.

I love both 808 and 510 cartos! I can fill either with at least 25-30 drops. (using the pop the top part of method since I hate wasting juice using the condom)
the only difference for me is 510 cartos taste better with higher Voltage (using a BB +2CR2s compare to my ego).
whereas the 808 cartos taste good no matter what mod or battery I use =P
I got my 510 from cloudsofvapor and vaporflow, 808 from V4L both premium and coolcarts.
oh btw Quitter, vaporflow probably sold out on those cause it was on sale last week =P

Eastmall 510's are what I use more than the v4l 808. I usually put abut 40 drops in. They last a long time too compared to v4l 808 cartos. I do kind of like the vapor on the 808 premium better though so I still switch back and forth a little.
It very well could be the prefilled flavor you had. My blanks filled w/ 18mg MFS Dunhill give plenty of TH.
My juices all taste different on my 510 carto (Boge soft-cap from MadVapes) and most produce more vapor than the premium V4l Kr8 carto. I thought the ohm rating was higher on the 510 than the premium? I think the newer Cool Cartos (from V4L) have a higher ohm rating than the premiums and are closer to the 510 carto -- much more flavor on my fruit juices on the 510 carto/Cool Carto with any complimentary flavors shining through more distinctly than on the Premiums.
That said, I still love certain flavors better on the V4L premiums.
