I noticed on the 1s i got today, the tubes seem to be a hair smaller, My drip tips are really tight. already split my 1st one. Lucky i bought some extra tubes from COV

Yep, my drip tips don't fit either, I'm using the included rubber whistle tip deals at the moment. When I get a chance I'm going to pull the o-rings off my drip tips and sand them down to fit nice, then reinstall the rings.

That's a good idea
I like my CE-2 XL Clearomizers so well, I may just sell my COV Map tank I received the other day. I havent even taken it out of the package. I received all my CE-2's in i had on order and they are working great for me

what is your personal opinionon the clearomizers, do you think they are worth getting, vs using a lx reg carto/cart? thus far, im using cart and cartos on my riva.

For the cost of a pack they're worth trying if you're ordering something else, and not paying separate shipping. They do have a bit of a learning curve, and may need a little modding for proper wicking. Not the holy grail of vaping just yet......:)

I ordered the 2.4ohm model.

Got mine in the mail today.

I used it with my Halo Element, which is just a rebranded 510. When I first started using it, I got a little bit of a burnt taste. It wasn't wicking properly.

I removed the inner white "cap", which is more like a washer than a cap, and it works AMAZING. Just as good as when I was dripping. At about 2:00 EST I filled it with about .8 ML of juice, and right now, at 8:00pm I'm about to run out. I smoke a lot. But for it to last 6 hours is impressive to me.

I don't think it was intended to be used without the washer cap. A little extra juice drips through the fill holes. Which is probably why its working well.

Greatly improved from previous revisions. The biggest issues with the current shipment is they changed to a slightly thicker tube which make the inner diameter a bit smaller. Several of mine came out of the box cracked at the base due to this and I don't have much confidence in taking the tube off for cleaning and having to force it back on without cracking due to the smaller diameter so I'm cleaning it with the tub on.

As far as performance I'm liking them very much, wick and taste great. You may have to fiddle with the fill ring a little IF there is a wicking issue which only takes a second and once that's done it's great but that goes for both the steel and clear ones.

If you don't mind not seeing your juice than I'd go with the steel ones, you'll forgo the possible tube issues and they are more durable than plastic but if you like seeing the juice get the plastic ones, there's always the 3mm BD Syringe mod which I'm going to do with the cracked ones.

Been using mine for 2 days now. Didn't clean the first one and it tasted like crap. That one ended up getting screwed up (melted a bit because I didn't notice the button got stuck), but the next one I iso rinsed first and it works great. A few pointers though.

Fluff the wick. It really helps. Look for videos on YouTube.

Drip a few drops in the wick to get it primed.

And for those talking about melting the top or sanding down your driptips, don't bother. Just get a 305 driptip. Stopped by Kalamazoo Vapor Shop today and found that they fit perfectly.

From my EVO to your eyeballs!

I just got mine today and....

It started out really good but the coil got gunked up and started tasting bad 1/2 a tank through. I Cleaned it out and dry burnt it and it was working again with slightly diminished taste. Also it looks like it's going to gunk up again fairly shortly.

Any recommendations? Would it be worth my money to try a lower resistance? They are getting impossible to find and the 3.0's where the only ones on hand.

I am using an Ego USB and 2.8-3.0 ohm CE2 XL from my vaporstore.

I do like the carto's for my kr8 that came in also so I do have a backup.

Lower ohm might help, it'll be a little hotter and might keep it from gunking up so fast. My first guess would be the juice. They don't seem to like some juices. Darker or sweet ones especially.

My favorite juice Wyatt Earp starts gunking up about 1/2 through the first fill and by the end of the fill it's like sucking a golf ball through a garden hose. I cleaned it, tried the same juice again, same result. Started off great and by the end of the fill was completely clogged.

I cleaned it again and tried a lighter colored juice, Mimosa and I'm on the 3rd fill since the last cleaning with no drop in performance.

Also....if you're putting the washer back in...the one that goes above the filler seal, you might try leaving that out. For some reason I've found it clogs a little faster with that in. Might be condensation collecting on it. It really serves on purpose anyway if the filler ring is not taken out.

I will try taking the ring out and see if that helps. There does seem to be a lot of condensation in there. I hope it's not the liquid because one is strait PG tobacco and the other is BWB Baco 70/30. They are not very dark but you can definitely see the same results from both. I am seeing a darker color on the condensation at the top trying do drain back down in and a dark Carmel color on the inner edge of the center washer.

I have noticed if I start my draw before pushing the button and releasing before ending the drew the build up seems to be a lot slower.

It seemed to be working ok without the ring... However I vaped on it a little while and went to bed. got up this morning and the top was flooded. Guess you need that ring to keep the juice out of the top. I will clean it out and try again with the ring in place.

I received the CE2 X (510) last week and so far the three I've tried have all had tubes crack at the base and leaked.
I'm staying away from buying any more until they fix that issue.
Strange that their initial testing didn't catch this, but it could have been a manufacturers change (who knows).

Where did you get them, what revision were they, and what juice were you using? This is supposed to be fixed in the new v5s. Either it isn't fixed, or you got an older revision. What the wick just one single strand, or was it looped?

The extra ring will prevent leaking while the carto is being stored, BUT when vaping it will prevent air from getting in to replace the juice you're using up. When vaping the wicking is better when there's a path for air to get into the tank, I also like playing with the bubbles like a lava lamp!! :)
