just bought a darwin and tried to use xl ce2 clearomizers.. not good at hight watts/volts... what are my options?.. im not opposed to using an adaptor.
SO I'm a newbie, and am trying to decide between the Darwin and the Provari. And I have to ask: if they are not good at high voltage, why not just turn the voltage on the Darwin down? Dial it down to the sweet spot?

That's about what I was thinking. You have a Darwin, so just dial it down until you get to a spot that works for you. You also have to consider the Ohm's of the cartos you're using. The 3.0Ohm should be good at around 4.5 to 5V, depending on what you like.
the clearomizers are rated at 3 ohms and they taste super burnt at high voltage... the reason i dont want to dial it down is because i like the feel that higher volts/watts put out
The reason for VV is to get the maximum performance out of any carto/atty out there. Only those people locked into 3.7 volts NEED a LR, and only those locked into 5,6,or7.4 NEED a HV. You can vape anything out there and have it put out the "feel" you are looking for. Just because you can turn it up, doesn't mean you have too.
