Where Can I Get A......? 510 colored carts? tan?

No idea what forum to post this in and since i am still relatively new - i picked this one...

has anyone ever seen tan colored carts for a 510? I'd like my father in law's smokes to look like smokes - that his preference - but I can only find white and black carts for the 510

anyone know where to order some? Or if there is any kind of paint that might hold up - or some other coloration method - I'd like to hear it!

I've seen all sorts of colors on bluegrassvapor.com - but not tan - he has copper though which is really nice looking.

had a look - looks like it's atomizers and batts, but not carts - and he won't ship to your northern cousins Ah well - how can I dye these things?

They are plastic, so no dye is going to adhere through an easy process.
Why don't you try Vinyl tape?
Should be easy to find, and cheap!

was worried that tape might not like the heat - and also might just start to unwrap - might look awfully ghetto up close lol

Well, trying to make a 510 look like an analog is a bit "ghetto" to begin with?
I assume you are using a white 510?
Always the first thing I hear from newby vapers, I want it to look and taste just like my analogs. A month in, they usually couldn't care less on look or flavor.

True enough - and I am with you on all points. I just know that he's very set in his ways - and in the beginning if we want him to adopt it - it has to be easy, similar to what his routine involves and effortless. So I'll be his 'tech support' and get him up and running until he realizes that they are amazing - which will just take a little time.

I haven't tried these (yet) but they look very promising:

510 Soft Cartomizers
They have a spongy sleeve wrapped with paper that you can actually chew on. The closest you'll come to making you e-cig feel like an analog.

Length of 510 cartomizer: 32.5mm (1.28")
Length of 510 atty w/ round cart: 45.7mm (1.8")

Cartomizer is 13.2mm (.52") shorter.

are these things refillable? I don't want to get into cartomizers if I can avoid it - I don't mind filling carts for him - and have done some mods to really maximize usage = save money

If you can get tan colored 401 and 901 carts, why not 510?
Surely the plastic used is the same for all carts.

Don't know but I aim to find out. If they *are* refillable, they should be fairly popular. If not, they'll just be a curiousity.
