So I'm adamant about modding a trident for bottom feed, and the copper pin/lead issue is the hold up.... I have found some stuff posted by muzichead/quiqsworth talking about the copper pin and how it could be poisonous. Quigs said if you soak it in peroxide/vinegar it would remove the surface lead, but im still weary. I have done a lot of searching and have found some more info but Icant find the goldmine on this information.
I'm also looking for information on finding a SS 510 screw, to replace the copper, has anyone done this? I'm on my way to the city, and I'm going to check out some hardware stores to see if I can find anything that will work.
Also, I know most companies don't release just a center post/insulators for their rba they're producing because of "liability"... what's up with that? Where's the company just selling different size center posts and insulators? Wish someone was doing that....
Also, maybe there are some rdas that sell the rda AND extra posts insulators and I just haven't uncovered it, if there plz lemme know...
