I have two 510 Box mods. One draws fine, the other draws really hard, and unless it's my imagination, is getting harder to draw on as time goes on. I mean I have to make a concerted effort to get a draw on the problem box.

This doesn't seem to make sense to me, the connector is just a power transfer point AFAIK, and shouldn't affect the draw capability of any standard carto.

But when I switch the same carto from one box to the other, the draw is significantly harder on one.
This happens with every carto I use, it's not just one carto.

I can't figure out what to do to rectify this situation or to even understand what the problem could be, it's relatively clean, there's no gunk on the threads what I can see...I'm mystified as to what could be the issue here.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Well I dunno.. the way it works is there are some shallow slots on the 510 battery connection and when you screw in the carto/atty, there is some space between the carto and the connection. Above the threads on the carto there is no threads, so the diameter is thinner than the top part of the battery connection.

If those slots are too shallow, it would not allow as much air in... or if the battery connection is too thin at the top it would block as well.. so my thought would be that either the slots are too shallow or the diameter at the top of the battery connection is less than normal. Hard to know which it is without looking at it.

I was thinking the same thing. Could the Atty have gone bad?
