I have been vaping for a while now and I've tried a couple different atty's. These include 801 901 510 and I only drip. I just tried a cartomizer and its really hard to draw. I drew a little harder and got a mouthful of TV AC. That burnt the crap outta my tongue. Ouch and yuck. Is there a way to ease the draw or is this normal. I did notice that I get decent flavor from a tiny hard draw but I'm not getting vapor due to the lack of air goin thru the carto. Any ideas?

The 901 that you are using it on may not have the proper cut on it to use cartomizers. Sounds like you will have to get an adaper.

Sorry I forgot to mention what I was using. I am using a cartomizer, 510 to 901/carto adapter and an SB all from altsmoke. The cartomizer has the notch in the bottom, the adapter has one vent hole below the carto end threads. Im even lining up the crenelations (i hope thats a good word to use) on the bottom side of the cartomizer connections with the single vent hole on the side of the adapter. The carto is definitely getting voltage but the draw is super hard.

I actually just figured it out.. Now I don't wanna flame altsmoke at all cuz I love their company. Everything they sell is top notch. However, I have a 901 atty that I keep my #1 adaptor attached to and strap it to the side of my TV Mint Chocolate chip juice so I don't haveta go looking for both the atty and adapter when I wanna vape it. Now I have another adapter (#2 adapter) ( cuz I got 2 at one time) and this is the one i tried to use with the carto. After inspecting the one I haven't used up till now, I noticed that the vent holes on the side of the new adapter are not fully reamed out. As a matter of fact, I don't think they are even partially unblocked (like the drill didn't go deep enough into the metal / like a valley instead of a hole). The reason for my super hard draw is that I was actually sucking the smallest amount of air through the threaded area between adapter and carto. No wonder.. So we'll chalk this one up as a defective adapter. No biggie they arent that expensive and like I said, I love altsmoke. I'll see if they will replace it in my next order. Even if they don't It doesn't matter I'll still order from them.

After 50 days of heavy vaping, I have gone through 3 atomizers. I figure that is the cost of vaping. 10 bucks for an atomizer. That was the cost of one day of smoking for me.

Depending on your PV, you can get them for even less, some folks swear by the 510 non-joyes that I've seen as low as 5/per.

Hmm that is the same set up that I am using right now and I have no problems. Do you have a drip tip?
