Ok so I finally found some white boge cartomizers, I received them and there marked boge 510-d cartomizers on the box. Problem is when I screw one on its like sucking a ton of air and little vapor! It's like getting too much air in the draw...Any way to fix? These are genuine joyetech batts, what gives?

There filled all the way, you can here all the air drawing from the connection, I tried to get it as flush as possible without hosing the post to no avail, there from ecigsuppy.
Couldn't find white 510-d boge on the site. So you are getting something? Is the carto warming up? vapor? Sorry gotta ask a few questions to figure this out.
The cartomizers are getting warm, just cant figure why so much air, there about a 1/3 of an inch longer than standard boge's, I filled them and let them soak, not over filling. Got me stumped
I was thrown off by the "d". Try tapping it sharply, threads down like a pack of smokes. Could work to tighten the draw. Sometimes you need to oversaturate them an blow them out a little to get a good draw. Do you know if they are horizontal or vertical coil? If they are vertical, there is just a hole in the middle of the filler, an you may see a wire. If they are horizontal there will be a tube in the middle of the filler. Also, on a horizontal cart, when it is empty, you can get a little light behind it and see the coil at the bottom.

Their standard vertical coil boges, I tried the packing to no avail, at first I tried them on my riva and thought they were ok cause of the cone but their still really airy.
I'm thinking it's gotta be the connection like you were thinking originally. Not much you can do but put a piece of electrical tape partially around it or try plugging one of the thread vent holes on the carto with a piece of toothpick. Hopefully it tightens up as you vape it.
Take a spare cart condom and cut a ring off the end, slide the ring over the carto and batt joint to cover the intake vents, I cut a small V into the the rubber ring to let a little bit of air get past a small portion of the carto/batt joint.
I've got 3ohm Boge 510-D from a local store (SS and black) and have the same problem with the "air problem". To make the matter worse SS is not wicking well and started to burn even with the tank. Using them with MV mode 4.2V and tank (SS only).
Slojas's idea is a pretty good one and would help out. But there is another way. I don't know if you are using automatic or manual batteries. However, if you are using manual ones, try pushing the button first and then take several lighter, longer pulls. That will reduce the amount of air and give you more vapor. I noticed the same thing when I would use the 510 batteries. I now use Riva's, Kgo's, and the Ego VV 900mah batteries. The nice thing with these is that they have cones that cover the base of the cartos and allow slightly less air in. Without the cones on, it is exactly like you describe.
As far as the "D" in the 510-D, It only designates the carto as disposible, although that is pretty stupid IMHO. Al cartos are disposible. Even though it is designated as a disposible, it can still be used after refilling several times. I never saw any difference in the Boge 510's or the 510-D.
