There are tons of US suppliers for 510 parts, btw. They should all be original JOYE products, though a few may be knockoffs. I don't know of specifics. Check ot the 510 subforum, you'll see a number of suppliers mentioned from the US.

Sounds like you either got some duds, or are running them joints too dry...I am on the same two attys that came with my 510 kit that I purchased over two months ago. I dont use carts though-I direct drip, and I only blow them out or run some hot water through them when I want to switch flavors. Although now I keep one dedicated to menthol, and the other for the 'fruity' flavors.

TW is a good spot to get your attys-just buy them in bulk for added savings.

I always though flooding them would kill them faster. I saw just saw TW ships from Brandon,Fl. right across the state from me so I will buy a 5er of there attys and try some lighter juice. Also I saw Nhaler had vitamin C juice, does anyone have exp. with that

The only Lung juice i have tried from NHaler is the watermelon flavor. i really like it it feels light and clean. sometimes when i am just looking to puff and dont need the big hit...i use it., He has a bunch of flavors i would try a bunch of samples before you buy the big size in case its not for you.

I was under the impression that all 510 hardware is made at the same Chinese (Joye) factory, but just called different things (Titan, Joye, Yeti, etc). It could be you got attys from a bad lot.

I've wanted to try VV's maple juice, and they claims there is no sugar in it, but Lorann Maple flavor does have sugar. Sugar will caramelize onto the bridge, and likely kill it, or at least slow it down. But it is not clear if this is your problem, or if sugar is actually present. But definitely VV maple is a heavy-weight, so try some other juices.

BTW, I absolutely LOVE VV's 35 mg unflavored VG-only juice for mixing. Clean clean clean, and I find VG brings out flavors more than PG. Although sometimes PG is nice because it flows easier.

On the atty issue, I still have and use daily the same attys I got about 6 weeks ago from esmokytreats.com. So either there are good 510 attys and cheap crap 510 attys, or I just got lucky. I've heard others occasionally say their attys died right away. So I am leaning towards the bad-luck argument, and you just got attys from a bad lot. Seems you should be able to get them replaced if they only lasted a week without pushing them too hard, say with higher voltage.

There are 510 atty's that don't come from Joye. There are now knock-offs and "improved versions" that come from other places.

Agreed, not all attys are created equal.
The coil should ALWAYS stay wet, 2-3 drops is a couple puffs in my world. I always remove the batting and top off. If they are even close to going dry I top them off. A dry coil will burn out LONG before a wet one will. I would rather flood than not have it wet enough. JMHO. I usually get 1-1.5 months out of an atty before they die, somtimes longer if I notice vapor production slack off and clean them.

There was a small lot of "knock off" Joye 510 atty's that was being sold by a supplier(who will remain unnamed). They were traced back to JSB. They were easily spotted because they had a higher bridge and a metal plate surrounding the bridge. Also, the diameter was slightly larger, which caused 510 carts to fit very loosely. The unnamed supplier removed them from the market and they've been unavailable for some time now. To my knowledge, only genuine Joye 510 atty's are currently available. At least from suppliers on this forum. Again, my guess, based upon your OP, is that you were running the atty's too dry.

If you drip them dry every night, and only put 3 drops in the cart, how are you even getting any vapor?. I would agree it sounds like you are running them dry.

I just got another 5 510 attys and am in the process of cleaning the primer by vaping it out with some 0mg PG. One thing I've noticed is that I'm getting huge amounts of vapor during the first day I went through them. They've all leveled off a bit on the 2nd day. I'm wondering if the primer produces a lot of vapor, and mixed with a little more juice from a (parched) cart, gives the impression the atty is producing good vapor... but is actually technically burning dry.

I have ordered new attys from a diff. supplier and I will give "wetter" a try, but I have seen a lot of suppliers running out of parts for the 510 is it an out of date model or are these things selling so fast the manufacturer cant keep up.

The 510 certainly isn't out of date. One reason for the shortage is that the atomisers seem very popular on a lot of mods and new models. The Protege works very well with them, I believe. :)
