Hi guys,

I've been happily vaping on my 510 for a month now, and I want to experiment with high-voltage mods. Here's a link to the atomisers I want to buy. The description says that these atomisers are designed to work at 6V. Are these attys compatible with my regular 510 batteries? If not, how do I perform the mod?

Thanks :D

They won't work on a standard 510 battery. You have to buy a mod that vapes at 6 volts. Here are a few. Silver Bullet, Chuck, GGST and there are a few others. Use the search function and you'll find all kinds of info on the ones I've mentioned and a few more.

I'm looking at the JOYE Stick V3, but I'd like to know a bit more about how it works. What adapters will I need? Can I refill the carts? Anything else I should buy?

The Stick comes standard for 801 attys, you'll need adapters only if you want to use a 510 or 901 atty on it.

Sure you can refill the carts, like any 801, 901, 510, etc

Anything else you should buy? Nope not really :D

What about the Joye302 atomisers? Heaven-Gifts.com says that these can be used with the Stick, so what is the difference between these and the 801 attys?

I've never tried the 302 attys, but I have tried the 306 attys, which are what I would call a variation of the 510 attys. Different styles will offer varying levels of flavor, vapor production, and throat hit. Pick up one or two and try them out, you might love them.

As far as the original question...yeah, you need a high voltage mod to use a high voltage atty like the Silver Bullet or the XHaler (just two off the top of my head). They make two high voltage attys: one for 6 volts, and one for 7 volts. Now from how I understand the technology, the HV atty has a higher resistance, and reduces the voltage...so it turns it into roughly 5 volts on each of the HV attys. This results in a cooler vape. My hang up is the difference between a HV atty on a 6 volt device, and a regular atty on a 5 volts device. I actually have some HV attys on the way, so I'm looking forward to testing them out. Anyway, the increased resistance is the reason why it won't work on a 3.7V e-cig, because it would reduce the voltage too low.

I personally have not had any luck with the East mall HV attys in 510 05 901, they always blow on me. I now use the ones from the sites that sell GG PVs like vaporkings and from inhaler. The GG site also sells HV attys for 7v vaping too.

Why I Wonder Don't They Work On Reg 510 Battery's, Can You Explain In Layman Terms.
I Also Wonder Why They Call Them 510 Megas If You Can't Use Your 510 Battery's With Them.
Im So Confused!!!

So how do they perform? I have not tried any yet. Is it really better than a standard 510?

If you use them with a 3.7v battery, they're going to suck - very little vapor and throat hit. They're designed to reduce voltage since some of the high-voltage mods can give a burnt taste or kill the atty's prematurely.

Just Ordered From Heavens Gifts So I Will Have To Try Them First. They Said It Just Shipped 2 Days Ago,,,So The Wait Begins Ha Ha I Will Post Something After I Give It A Go!!

Sorry to .... in but I notice you were talking about Mega atomizers and carts. I have used them for over a month on my Janty Ego at 3.7 and really liking them. The carts hold more liquid and it is a nice vape.

If you like them from Heavensgifts re-order from totally wicked, they have a 5 pack of mega atomizers for like 44.95 or some thing like that. Much cheaper then heavens gifts.
