Just got a starter kit for my gf at cignot and it came in.. one battery (both are manual) works fine.. the other doesn't?

When you screw the atomizer on, it'll give you one good drag, the led will be lit up. After that, it doesn't work. You press the button, then the led will just kinda blink weakly.. but virtually no vapor will come out. After a wisp of vapor, absolutely no vapor will come out of it.

I don't know if it's the cutoff that isn't working right, or the atomizer isn't making a connection, or if the battery is faulty ...:confused:

I read about a staple trick you might need to do, but that was on an automatic, I believe. Any other ideas/suggestions?

That trick works on automatic or manual batts. The negative conductor is movable--up or down. Perhaps you need to move it up so that it connects with the atty? That would be my first inclination. Of course, if you got a bad batt, it wouldn't be the first time on here.

Oh yeah, wireguy.......That's right, could not be the connector or there would not be a first hit....Bad advice on my part....

Sweet. Ok, contacted them via e-mail. They'll send a replacement battery AND an envelope to send the faulty battery back. Can't beat that. Love these girls.
Also ordered a USB passthrough and another nobox kit as well as a carrying case.

Gonna try out the china supplier Heaven Gifts to see what they're like/wait time, but I'm sure I'll be using cignot for most of my 510 needs.

I know you are getting a replacement from the great ladies at cignot, but if the battery led is blinking, that means it needs to be charged...how does the battery act when you put it on the charger????

(I am just asking to learn something here...I know I am weird, I enjoy learning! LOL)

I wouldnt give up on Cignot there products are genuine Joye 510 and they have the best service you could ask for as you seen by the service they gave you on the exchange. Dont look a gift horse in the mouth.

That's why I have about 15 units set up at the same time. This can be relatively cheap since you can get a battery and atomizer for about $12 and can get a multiple charger for the 510. I will be charging about 8-510 batteries at one time. If one stops producing good I just switch to another one.

Does anybody else do this. I vape constantly and could not do this unless I have this many going all the time.

I have two cignot 510's going during the day, one on passthru, and almost exclusively use my DSE601 while at home (except when company comes over...I don't want anyone jacking with my 601!) LOL

Alternate 2 Cignot 510's one always on passover whether in house or car, battery when anywhere else. Rotate Atties and clean once a week but usually have 4 atties going at one time with different flavors.
